Description
A beautiful and stylish villa nestling in the idyllic countryside of one of France's most stunning regions, famed for its hilltop medieval villages, fairytale castles, prehistoric cave paintings and bastide towns. Soak up the rich history of this wonderful area or simply enjoy soaking up the sun in the lovely garden by the pool while planning your next gastronomic outing.There is a large, comfortably furnished living room on the first floor with a wood-burning stove and shuttered windows on two sides with panoramic views over the valley. A dining table seats at least 6 people, and there is a stereo, three well-filled bookcases and ample CDs/board games/card games etc. A large TV which gets Amazon Prime and Netflix.
The stairs rise from the living room to the second floor which has two bedrooms with sloping ceilings and velux windows, each furnished with two single beds and chests of drawers. On the same floor is a bathroom/wc
The house has wall mounted electric radiators and a telephone. All bed linen is provided and a bath and hand towel per person per let is also provided. It is advisable to bring beach towels.
SWIMMING POOL
The pool measures 10m x 5m (lightly salted, which is beneficial for those with skin allergies). As required by French law, there is a pool alarm. Surrounded by an extensive paved terrace the pool is situated in a garden of approximately 1/4 acre, mainly grass with oak, chestnut and walnut trees, overlooking woods and fields. Pool lights and flowers make the pool ideal for evening as well as daytime swimming and relaxing.
