This one bedroom vacation rental is located on Westminster Bridge Road next to Lambeth North Underground Station. You can walk out the door and the tube station is just a few steps away! The apartment is situated on the 3rd floor of a 6 story modern building which has an elevator. The building also has a tranquil communal garden for your enjoyment as well as a security system for entry and exit.

Although this is a one-bedroom apartment, it can accommodate more than expected due to a fully sprung double sofa bed and a further fold up chair bed for a fifth person in the living room. Many families find this a great option. The open layout includes a fully equipped modern kitchen as well as a designated dining area. The spacious bedroom has a kingsize bed. Laundry facilities are conveniently located inside the apartment with a washer and dryer. There is also a deep soak bathtub/shower for your relaxation after a long day of exploring the wonderful city of London! Fresh linen and towels provided and free internet wifi.

The apartment is situated in Lambeth North, a great location that provides a variety of many things to do and see. In the immediate vicinity of this apartment there are various restaurants such as the Italian restaurant Cotto (www.italiancotto.co.uk) across the road and the delicious Cuban restaurant, Cubana (www.cubana.co.uk). To really submerge yourself in the British culture you could check out the pub, the Three Stags (www.thethreestags.london) for the best Sunday Roast Dinner around. There are three small supermarkets on the same street - Tescos, Sainsburys, or a 24 hour Costcutter for when you need supplies for home.

Local street Lower Marsh has a daily street food market as well as many independent retail shops and cafes, bars and restaurants. Greensmiths (www.greensmithsfood.co.uk) is a local supermarket with a real difference – a butcher, a baker, a greengrocer, a coffee specialist, and a wine merchant. The famous Marie's cafe serves traditional English breakfasts by day and home made thai food in the evening.

For those who enjoy relaxing in the park, look no further than Archbishops Park which has a huge children's playground for all ages. The beautiful Jubilee Gardens in front of the London Eye has a park and climbing equipment.

Nearby are many tourist attractions such as Big Ben and the Houses of Parliament and the London Eye, also known as the Millennium Wheel. You are a short 5 minute walk! If you enjoy museums don't miss out on the Imperial War Museum and gardens, or if you prefer theatre, make sure you attend the National Theatre or the Old Vic Theatre. This apartment is only 20 metres from Lambeth North Tube station which gives you easy access to the Bakerloo Line allowing you to have fast transport within and around the city – 10 minutes to Oxford Circus and 20 minutes to Westfield Shopping Centre. A bus stop opposite the apartment allows you to hop on the 148 bus and take a direct trip to Buckingham Palace. This vacation rental is in the centre of London, a perfect place for you to come home to after you explore the city!

Jamie assisted us urgently with accommodation as the accommodation we booked was not a good fit. Jamie is very communicative and we were warmly welcomed by Sherry whom assisted us very well- even with where to get halal food as we arrived late the evening. The accommodation is basic, clean and easy for a family with children- no need to worry about small ornaments that can easily be broken by mistake. The property is clean, has all the amenities one needs for a quick stay, there is a lot of pillows and blankets which we always find no one has enough of. The property has a beautiful view and is very well located. Their information book has so much info- you won’t even need to contact them for help with directions to anywhere. It also gives you information on how to fold the sleeping couches out. Thank you Jamie. If I could give you more stars I would.

Perfect cozy place on the south bank.

Lovely flat, and easy walk to Shakespeare’s Globe, Christmas market, bridges to Westminster, borough market, National Theatre. Owner Jamie and property manager Sherry were friendly, helpful, and lovely to work with. Flat is clean, safe, comfortable and in a very convenient location. Highly recommend!

Perfect location and everything we needed.

My family just spent 2 weeks in London and took day trips to other locations. This was the perfect location for everything we wanted to do. Right next door is the underground, plenty of places to eat nearby and a store for necessities. Although we didn’t cook, the kitchen appeared to be well stocked. The washer/dryer was a lifesaver as we didn’t pack for the warm weather, so we had to wash the same clothes over and over. The flat is clean, and Jamie got right back to us whenever we had a question. I would highly recommend this place for families or anyone wanting to stay in zone 1 of the underground system.

The Perfect Location For Visiting London

We found the location to be perfect for our visit. Lambeth underground station, just 1 minute away gave us the Bakerloo Line with plenty of good stops and easy access to the other main lines. Just a 20 minute walk away is Waterloo Station where you can get straight on to the Waterloo Line. Well within walking distance you have The Imperial War Museum, London Eye, Shrek's Adventure, The London Dungeon, Sealife and Westminster Bridge taking you all the way across the Thames to Westminster, Big Ben etc.

You also have a very good Bus Stop outside the building and there on a Hop On/Hop Off Bus Stop outside the Imperial War Museum for the London Open Top Bus Tours well worth a visit themselves.

The apartment is basic but cosy and provides for all your needs and the location offers plenty of shops for the necessities, Tesco Express, Cost Cutter, Sainsbury and Iceland. There are plenty of good places to eat within walking distance and an excellent Costa Coffee across the road for those early morning lazy starts.

Would we stay here again? Absolutely and we intend to once again in the New Year and will make this our favourite accommodation every time we visit London.
