Description

Lakeside is a tranquil peaceful lodge situated on the well regarded site at Weybourne Hall Park. The lodge is beautifully maintained and presented, with deceptively spacious accommodation. The outside space is really special with lakeside views from the deck.

There is a good sized sitting room, which is comfortable, having plenty of seating. An electric woodburning effect fire makes for cosy evenings in the cooler months. The kitchen, again is very spacious with a dining table to one end, and is very well equipped. There is a separate utility room off the kitchen. with a door to the deck area. There are two bedrooms, a double, which has an ensuite shower room and a twin. A further bathroom is located off the hallway with bath and shower over.

Outside you can see why Lakeside is such a wonderful place to stay. Imagine sitting on the deck, after a lovely day at the beach, just watching the wildlife and the water from your own private deck.

Lakeside is a very special place to stay, and is close to the village pub and shop too. Weybourne Hall Park is a peaceful and exceptionally well maintained park with super grounds.

Regret no dogs.

Weybourne is on the North Norfolk coast in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. As well as being a quaint and pretty fishing village, it played a big part in the war, with an important radar and listening post setup on the coast. The history of this is told in the excellent military museum The Muckleburgh Collection which is an interesting day out for everyone. There are plenty of walks straight from the door of the property and the beach is about a 20 minute walk. The beach is a shingle beach. The village has an excellent pub called The Ship, a tea room and village shop. Sheringham is just 3 miles away and you can walk along the stunning cliff top coastal path. The Norfolk Steam Railway, known as The Poppy Line, has a station in Weybourne and this is another fantastic place to visit.
