Location, location, location! This spacious historical Grade II listed building is situated in the prime position of Kellaway Court, overlooking Hope Square in Brewers Quay, Weymouth. The location is excellent, with a choice of nearby pubs and restaurants to suit all tastes or choose fresh lobster and crab from the Quayside and dine in. Brewers Quay has a variety of antique shops and a military museum. The vibrant harbour is only a minute or two away. Cross the nearby bridge or take the gentle rowing ferry across to the other side of the quay and within 5-10 minutes, you have the choice of visiting Weymouth's famous golden beach, or alternatively, take advantage of the well-stocked amenities in and around the main shopping area, comprising well known Department Stores alongside fascinating independent shops.
Santiago House is a contemporary family-friendly home away from home with a well-equipped kitchen, high quality bed linen and newly refurbished bathrooms which are finished to a boutique hotel standard. The Master Bedroom's Super-King bed is luxuriously big. This property especially welcomes families. Travel cot & high chair available, please contact the bookings team to add to your booking. As well as children's crockery there is a large selection of books, toys and DVD's provided.

An ideal spot to watch the world go by. Parking is taken care of with two allocated parking spaces in an electronically gated secure residents parking area. Dorset is equally as well known for it's activities as it is for the quiet life, sailing, fishing and walking to name but a few.

Fabulous Santiago House
By Richard Slater on 04-Sep-2017
Another superb stay in the Santiago House. The house was clean and well presented as always. Perfect location, weather helped, but always enjoy the experience. This was our 3rd year in this property, and we have already booked for next year.
I absolutely love having repeat Guests to stay at Santiago House. That is an amazing advert in itself! I'm so pleased you enjoyed staying at Santi. x

Lovely Property in a Great Location
By John R. on 23-Jun-2017
We really enjoyed our stay at Santiago House - it was in a nice quiet location but still close to the town and beach. The property itself was well laid out and spacious with a light and airy feel. The kitchen was well appointed as was the whole property with videos, plenty of books and board games for the evenings. There was even a selection of buckets and spades and crab lines for the kids.
Hi John, So pleased you enjoyed your stay at Santiago House. The twins looked like they were having a huge amount of fun on the beach, thank-you for the photographs. x
By Barbara Brennan on 26-May-2017
The whole family really enjoyed our stay at Santiago house, it's a perfect base to explore Weymouth from . It's well equipped and covers all our needs . Thank you to the owners Maxine and Matthew for another memorable holiday .
Fabulous Property, Centrally Located & Well-Equipped.
By Sophie M. on 14-Apr-2017
Santiago House is a lovely spacious three storey property in a central but quiet residential area. The house is close to lovely pubs, eateries and the quayside for food, drink and lots of crabbing. We enjoyed a wonderful week here, with super weather. Close to beautiful beaches, pirate graveyards (Ope) and fossil hunting.
Super review, thank you. Good to hear you found the Pirates Graveyard in Portland. The setting – a ruined church at the foot of a romantic pathway, stuck between two castles – makes for wonderful mystical tales. The skull and crossbones carved on the headstones ignite children's imagination.
50th Birthday Celebrations!
By Karen H. on 07-Apr-2017
The property was amazing - so well equipped and spacious. Maxine had also left a card and gift as it was a special birthday we were celebrating - - which was really touching. Location was brilliant - close to the shops and the beach. We had a fantastic time - many games of hide and seek took place - so many hiding places haha. The weather was fab - - not a drop of rain all week. It was an amazing holiday - making my special birthday one to remember always . Many thanks to Maxine for making that happen. We will definitely aim to return.
Had a fab week away, lovely place to stay.
By Vicky Y on 17-Mar-2017

Beautiful Property, Perfect Location
By Karen J. on 23-Dec-2016
We had the perfect stay at Santiago House over Christmas. The house is roomy, extremely clean and in a perfect location. The kitchen was also well stocked with all the glasses, pots, pans, cutlery etc that we would need as well as a well-stocked spice and condiment cupboard. The check-in process was extremely easy as was the checkout. I would definitely recommend this as a lovely family house.
Christmas is a great time to spend in Weymouth. Excitement kicks off with the annual Christmas Day Harbour Swim - an organised event, which this year attracted 500 entrants. Thank you for your super review and recommendation.
Very comfortable, clean and great location.
By Kate E. on 16-Sep-2016
Thank you to Maxine for sharing their home with us. This was a great place to stay and in the perfect location for our needs - close to family, harbor, restaurants etc. The property itself is very clean and comfortable and had all the facilities we needed. The beds were made fresh and clean and are the most comfortable we have stayed in on our many trips. Access to the property and booking was easy process and went smoothly. Will be back next time in Weymouth. Highly recommended.
Kate, I am so pleased you enjoyed your stay at Santiago House. Our guests love the location and the two allocated parking bays. We do hope to have you to come and stay again when you are next over from America, visiting your family. x
Even Better Than Expected!
By Michael G. on 09-Sep-2016
We had a great time staying at Santiago house. The beds were very comfortable and there was a lot of space in the kitchen, living, and dining rooms. The kitchen was fully stocked with cooking utensils and pots/pans. The laundry machine came in handy. The bedrooms are separated from the main area, which is great if someone wants to go to bed early or take a nap. The location is fabulous, as we were able to get a pint just outside the front door.
The pint must have been very well deserved, as you took part in the Iron-Man Challenge, coming all the way from America. Congratulations!
The Red Lion is a firm favourite with our Guests and no wonder, as they serve great food and Jurassic is the beer of choice - or so I am told. Not quite on our doorstep, the Red Lion is situated on Hope Square, so you get the benefit of a short stroll to the local pub and no noise. Win-Win.
Super Place to Stay
By David H. on 02-Sep-2016
We found that Santiago House is very well situated, just off the harbor and next to Hope Square, with its great pub The Red Lion and very good bistros. Although adjacent to these places, it is tucked just a little around the corner, so we were not troubled by any noise at night. The secure parking made life a lot easier than it might have been. The rooms were as described- very roomy! -in particular, the lounge area, master bedroom, and a huge kitchen. Quite a few (squeaky) stairs to climb up to the top rooms, would not suit everyone, but it kept us fit and helped to work off some of the great food we enjoyed. Good décor, with some nice ‘seaside’ touches. The owner Maxine was very friendly and helpful, advising us in advance of some road changes due to the Weymouth Waterfest (which was excellent, by the way). We would definitely stay here again when heading back Weymouth way.
David, it was our pleasure to have you to stay at Santiago House. You’ve highlighted two of my most favourite places, The Red Lion and Pascal’s little French Bistro, both just a few steps away from our house. I’m pleased the size of the rooms exceeded your expectations. Thank you for your terrific review and we would be delighted for you to stay at Santiago House in the future.
Welcoming, Clean, Modern, Ideally Positioned.
By Stephen Spurgeon on 22-Jul-2016
This is our third visit to this property. It is always presented clean, ready to use, well equipped and welcoming. It is ideally situated for town, beach and harbour. We rarely use our car as we can walk everywhere we want to go. It's unusual design offers in itself a fresh experience.
Thank you for your super review. It is our pleasure to have you and your family to stay in our holiday home. We are delighted to be welcoming you back in 2017 - your 4th year at Santiago House! x
Big and comfortable house in center town of weymouth.
By Romuald H. on 03-Jun-2016
We were in Weymouth for a sailing World Cup competition. And we find in Maxine's house the perfect accommodation. The house is very big and comfortable. We really enjoy the big and totally complete kitchen. And the bathroom were really good. Over all a very good house.
Thank you Maxine. 470 Swiss sailing team.
Good luck in Rio for the 2016 Olympics. x
Santiago House is a wonderful place for families
By Liz W. on 27-May-2016
We had a fantastic time staying in Santiago House, it is so well located for all the attractions on offer in Weymouth. Having 2 parking spaces was a real bonus and the quality of the bedlinen and towels exceeded out expectations. I would happily recommend Santiago house to anyone who would like all of the family to be together with plenty of space for everyone, the open plan layout was great and the kitchen was well stocked.
Wonderful Holiday Home In Weymouth
By Rebecca P. on 28-Dec-2015
We booked the holiday at Santiago House as a surprise break for our Mum over the new year. The owner, Maxine was extremely helpful and friendly. We had a wonderful time there. The surprise went perfectly. The house is beautiful, spacious and in a great location, just around the corner from the town and beach. There are many restaurants and pubs within easy walking distance. I would thoroughly recommend staying at this house. It offers great accommodation with a relaxed feel. There are four good sized bedrooms. The master bedroom is huge!...(even bigger than it looks in the photo). We will hopefully return for another stay next year.
We would love to have you back to stay! So pleased you enjoyed your time at Santiago House and found it to be even better than the photographs. New Year's Eve is a great time to be in Weymouth, they know how to celebrate in style.
Outstanding & Interesting Property
By Tom Yeels on 18-Dec-2015
Thoroughly enjoyable stay at 'home from home' Santiago House - a Xmas break for the family where everything required was provided at the property. We could not fault the property which is clean, well appointed and clearly maintained to a high standard. Located in the historic 'Brewers Quay' area of the Old Harbour made the stay even more enjoyable with nice pubs and restaurants on your doorstep (literally!). Gated safe parking for two cars is also a significant bonus. The owner 'Maxine' has been extremely helpful answering numerous questions and left a really nice welcome pack on our arrival. I would thoroughly recommend this property.
Thank you for your strong recommendation, I'm so pleased our home lived up to your expectations. Also the photographs you kindly sent through were lovely, wonderful to see you and your family enjoying your Christmas at Santiago House - especially the little ones in front of the Christmas tree.
Great House, Great Location!
By Speed Week Team on 09-Oct-2015
This is the second time I have stayed in Santiago House with a team for Weymouth Speed Week - and it's so good we will be back again next year. The owner, Maxine, is a pleasure to deal with and the house itself is large, comfortable, furnished to high standard and very well equipped. Set in a secure courtyard it is just off Hope Square with its pubs and restaurants: the Red Lion serves a fantastic steak and ale pie, just what is needed after a good day on the water. I have no hesitation in highly recommending Santiago House - just not at Speed Week because I'll be there!!
An absolute pleasure to have you and your crew to stay at Santiago House and rest assured, Speed Week is yours!
What is Speed Week? Dating back to 1972, Weymouth Speed Week runs in Portland Harbour shortly after the Autumn Equinox, when the wind conditions become most favourable to provide the best chance of getting ideal speed sailing conditions. It is a unique event - there are no restrictions as to who may enter and all types of sailing craft are welcome. If it's wind-powered, it is eligible.
Beautiful House in a perfect location
By Nicola Yorke on 11-Sep-2015
Santiago House is a stunning property. Clean and very well equipped. Great location for the Weymouth Ironman for which my husband completed. Thank you.
There is so much going on in Weymouth!
You must be proud of your husband, what an achievement - a 2.4-mile swim in the sea, followed by a 112-mile bike ride topped off with a full 26.2-mile marathon. All in only 12 hours! Pleased you enjoyed staying at Santiago House and thank you for your review.
5*+ Beautiful Spacious House - Excellent Location
By Lynne E. on 07-Aug-2015
Everyone should have a 'Santi' moment - this property oozes happiness. From the moment I was promptly contacted by the very welcoming owner Maxine to confirm our booking, I knew this was going to be very special. On arrival, the property truly greeted us with warmth and affection. Each room carefully decorated to compliment its true charm. Gorgeous beams, amazing staircases, modern bathrooms, very comfortable beds, immaculately clean and well maintained. The sheer beauty and size of each room was totally overwhelming - so much so that I rang Maxine straight away to thank her personally. The property easily accommodated our party of 7 adults (3 generations), with ample space to relax and spend time together or enjoy personal space. In such a brilliant location, having two secure parking spaces was also a real bonus. Over the week we visited various restaurants in the evenings, including The Springhead at Sutton Poyntz, Smugglers Inn at Osmington, Crab House Cafe near Portland and the Red Lion in Hope Square. All were delicious and very picturesque but our particular favourite was the Galley Bar & Bistro in Hope Square and of course the local fish and chips at Seagull Cafe too! We enjoyed many walks, the beach, crab fishing, views from Nothe Fort, Portland (where the Olympic rings make a great photograph), Lulworth Cove and Durdle Dor, Swanage railway and discovered the beautiful Bennetts Water Gardens at Chickerell with Cafe Monet. Weymouth has always held very special memories, having enjoyed many summers here when our children were young. Returning together after so many years, it was a real pleasure to have shared this experience together at Santiago House - making it absolutely magical.
A Santi' moment? That is so lovely! Thank you for your review, It is very pleasurable to know our Guests have enjoyed staying at Santiago House. It sounds as though you were on the go and managed to see so many places. The Crab House Cafe is one of my favourites and they have just opened up Billy Winters Beach-side Bar & Diner at the Ferrybridge Boatyard. A good place to be when the sun is shining. We hope to welcome you back to Santi' x

A lovely spacious property very clean with everything you could ask for We were a family of six adults and three young children so the large spaces in this property was great .We hope we will be able to return sometime in the future. We would like to thank Maxine for helping us with our holiday I would recommend this place to anybody with its superb location near the harbour and all other facilities.
Fantastic Sumer Holiday
By Anne Q on 26-Jun-2015
We loved Santiago House, there were 6 adults in the group and the house is a great size. I love the open plan of the living room, dining room/kitchen. The bedrooms are over the next 2 floors, so my sister took a room on the top floor as dad would struggle with all the stairs. The bathrooms are modern with separate showers. We did bag the en-suite bedroom which is the largest.
I loved how the harbour and restaurants are only a few steps away. I loved all the walks, through Nothe gardens and along the Rodwell trail and out at the RSPB Radipole Lake. There is so much to see or do, or just sit on the harbour and watch the boats. I totally recommend this property !
Lovely Relaxing Holiday
By Laura T. on 15-May-2015
We had a wonderful time at Santiago House. The pre-arrival letter gave detailed directions and made our arrival very smooth. The house is spacious, clean, beautifully decorated and well-appointed, especially the kitchen. The location is convenient for the harbourside and just a short walk brings you to the town centre and Weymouth's lovely beach. The children settled in straight away - the games, DVDs and books helped! We enjoyed the local restaurants, and visiting the beach, Nothe Gardens and the Sealife Centre. A lovely relaxing time, highly recommended!
By Helen on 01-May-2015
On arrival at Santiago House we were all amazed by the location of the property. We as a family have been to Weymouth numerous occasions and stayed in other properties but Santiago House is outstanding. On entering the house we couldn't wait to view all the rooms and we weren't disappointed, the whole house was immaculate, the beds were so comfortable we found it difficult to get out of them in the mornings. The two bathrooms with showers/bath and three toilets were spotless. Having a dishwasher,washer/dryer and every utensil in the kitchen you could think of made our stay even better. The location is perfect, walking out from the gates onto Brewers Quay with shops, restaurants and pubs that are child and pet friendly. We were made to feel very welcome. All 9 of us as family ranging from 9 months to 86 years including a very well behaved 20 month old Cockapoo had a brilliant week and are hoping to return asap. Would highly recommend Santiago House.....
Helen, an absolute delight to have you and your party stay at Santiago House and you've booked for next year - we must be doing something right. Thank you for the super review. x
Perfect Location, Highly Recommend
By Oddall on 18-Apr-2015
Having decided that we would visit Weymouth Dorset, it required some internet trawling to find an appropriate place to stay. The Santiago House website appeared and immediately captured our attention. After contacting Maxine to see if it was available for the week we required, we found her extremely accommodating and helpful, so we booked there and then. Sometimes descriptors can be misleading but upon arrival we were not disappointed. Situated in the heart of Weymouth within walking distance of the shops, beach and other attractions Weymouth had to offer it was a perfect location. The house needed to cater for 7 people and it did that with ease. There was plenty of space WCs, showers and beds so nobody felt like they were imposing on any one else. The fully equipped kitchen and dining room handled the catering demands well. We were fortunate to have fine sunny weather for the whole week so the balcony with table and chairs was an extra bonus. We could not have asked more of the house nor Maxine the owner and I would highly recommend this property to anyone who wants to stay in a secure, fully equipped property in the centre of Weymouth.
Thank-you for your fantastic recommendation for Santiago House. Great to know our description lives up to expectation. x
By Weymouth Wanderers on 17-Oct-2014
We stayed here as two families to get together over the half term holiday. Maxine the owner a lovely lady was very helpful and we found Santiago House to be ideal in almost every way, there was plenty of space and seating to play games, watch TV, have a meal it was very well equipped all of which we took full advantage of . We found the house to be spacious with clean lovely comfy beds. It couldn't be better situated in a lovely quaint part of Weymouth. With plenty of nice restaurants, pubs and shops within easy walking distance. And if you must get into the car from the secure parking provided, it's an easy drive to all areas. I would easily give it top marks but for our only gripe which was the lack of Wi Fi but this would not stop us from coming back. Recommended for: Families with Young Children, Sightseeing, Girls Getaway, Adventure Seekers, Families with Teenagers.
What a lovely review, thank-you. We took on-board your gripe and we now have Wi-Fi access for our Guests. It is part of everyday life and Santiago House is now fully up to speed. Guests can now happily google away at their leisure. x

We stayed here for a week 14th to 21st June 2014, we really enjoyed this lovely House that has everything you need. It is situated right next to the old port which abounds in excellent eating and drinking places. .It has 2 allotted parking places in a secure courtyard and is right outside the House. Weymouth and surrounding area is a lovely place to stay and highly recommended. We had a lovely day trip to Guernsey with Condor Ferries which was very enjoyable and at £20 return with the voucher out of the local rag was outstanding value, Nothe Fort is also a must to see as is Portland which abounds in beauty and lovely scenery There are many things to see and do in the area and you are really spoilt for choice The Owner was very helpful and is to be commended on her lovely property, many thanks. Santiago House - Wonderful
By Caron Garland on 29-Apr-2014
We (6 ladies) have just enjoyed a wonderful weekend at Santiago House in Weymouth. It was a great location with lots of restaurants & pubs to choose from for an evening out. The house was very spacious & had everything we needed. The only thing we would suggest is that the house could have WiFi as nowadays that's quite standard as the signal wasn't great. It was nice to have 3 bathrooms as no one felt on top of each other. There are steps leading to the front door and 2 floors once inside, so not ideal for someone who can't manage stairs. The weather was great, so we enjoyed sitting out on the small balcony and walking along Weymouth seafront & around the shops. Would definitely recommend and would return.
