Description

Renovated in January 2023, the 1st floor modern spacious Lounge has a view of Lake Windermere and is at set up for relaxing away the hours watching the SMART TV or have some fun with the many board games, cards, books and toys for the younger children. There is also a large selection of tourist leaflets to choose from giving you ideas for all the excellent things to do in the area and places to visit. On this floor is also a beautiful Dining Room which comfortably seats up to 6 plus a highchair for the little ones.

The house sleeps 6 plus 1 infant (by request) in 3 bedrooms which comprises of a large king size master with a large master bathroom which enjoys a walk in shower and corner bath; another king size guestroom with en-suite shower room and a lovely double guestroom also with an en-suite shower room. There is a travel cot for which you will require your own bedding.

The well equipped kitchen with breakfast bar is a nice sociable space and has many of the gadgets you will find at home making cooking some family meals an easy job. There is a a double oven, ceramic hob, microwave, large fridge/freezer, a slow cooker, a steamer and lots of pots and pans and of course a washing machine and dishwasher. There is also an upstairs cloakroom so there is no need to go downstairs to spend a penny!

There is ample parking for 3 cars and a lovely private, enclosed patio with chairs, table, parasol, BBQ.

We accept 1 well behaved family dog at no additional charge, However, do not allow dogs to be left in the house unattended (we are happy for a per crate to be used) nor for them to be allowed on the furniture or beds.

There is a £150 good housekeeping bond applied to invoices which is returnable within 2 days of departure.

We all enjoyed our week at Kempton, a very comfortable, clean and well equipped house

We would recommend and would stay there again if we visit the area again. We did have a problem but it was solved immediately by a phone call with Georgie, fantastic service! The house is very convenient for Bowness, just a short walk for the shops and places to eat which was great as parking during a bank holiday weekend could be difficult. Lots of lovely places to visit in the area, Ambleside, Wray Castle, Tarn Hows and lots more.

This is a beautiful cosy little home in a great location right in the middle of Windermere and Bowness

It has all of the facilities you could possibly need. We were a party of 4 adults and 1 dog, the location was great for walking him as well as going out for food/drinks/exploring etc. The homeowners were absolutely brilliant too, ensuring we had everything we needed and our security deposit was returned straight away on returning from holiday. We will definitely be visiting again.
