The 1st floor modern spacious Lounge has a view of Lake Windermere and is at set up for relaxing away the hours watching the SMART TV or enjoying a DVD. There are a pair of Creature Speakers for plugging in your music, or have some fun with the many board games, cards, books and toys for the younger children. There is also a large selection of tourist leaflets to choose from giving you ideas for all the excellent things to do in the area and places to visit. On this floor is also a beautiful Dining Room which comfortably seats up to 6 plus a highchair for the little ones.

The house sleep 6 plus 1 infant (by request) in 3 bedrooms which comprises of a large king size master with a large master bathroom which enjoys a walk in shower and corner bath; another king size guestroom with en-suite shower room and a lovely smaller double guestroom also with an en-suite shower room. There is a travel cot for which you will require your own bedding.

The well equipped kitchen with breakfast bar is a nice sociable space and has many of the gadgets you will find at home making cooking some family meals an easy job. There is a a double oven, ceramic hob, microwave, large fridge/freezer, a slow cooker, a steamer and lots of pots and pans and of course a washing machine and dishwasher. There is also an upstairs cloakroom so there is no need to go downstairs to spend a penny!

There is ample parking for 3 cars and a lovely private, enclosed patio with chairs, table, parasol, BBQ and chimanea for the cooler evenings.

We accept 1 well behaved family dog at no additional charge, However, do not allow dogs to be left in the house unattended (we are happy for a per crate to be used) nor for them to be allowed on the furniture or beds.

There is a £200 good housekeeping bond applied to invoices which is returnable within 2 days of departure.

It was really like home from home very comfortable inside and the outside area was a real bonus for my family and dogs. We have just returned from a fabulous break.

Lovely house in a perfect location

Lovely house in a perfect location. Fully equipped. clean, very well maintained and comfortable. This house is very spacious . Each bedroom has an en-suite . Large separate dining room and large living room. Ample parking for three cars. Only a short walk to Lake Windermere and plenty of restaurants bars and shops nearby. The home was exactly as described. The owner Georgie is a pleasure to deal with. Very helpful and very responsive. Excellent communication throughout. We even received a text message to enter property earlier and Georgie contacted us to offer a later check out. We didn’t need anything extra during our stay but I had every confidence Georgie would help if needed. The welcome pack was also very much appreciated. Highly recommend this property. We’d definitely stay again next time we’re going to the Lakes

We were 3 couples so the en-suite rooms were ideal for us. Everything about the house was great. The kitchen was well equipped. The beds were comfy and although the house is quite close to the main road we weren’t disturbed. The water stayed hot for 6 showers and the heating if you needed it was very good. The location was perfect for us and the parking space for 3 cars was ample. The outside seating area was lovely. We’d definitely stay again next time we’re going to the Lakes.
