'Windermere Lodge' is a privately owned, pet friendly, Scandinavian style 3 bed/2 bath log cabin on the shores of Lake Windermere within the exclusive 5 star rated White Cross Bay and Marina complex, one of the most idyllic, scenic locations in the heart of the Lake District. It can comfortably sleep 6 and is the perfect getaway to relax and unwind. The lodge has 3 bedrooms, master bedroom with large en suite, walk- in shower and king size bed, two twin rooms plus further family bathroom with full size bath and shower. One of the twin rooms can be made into a double on request.

The lodge is centrally heated, double glazed and offers warm, cosy accommodation all year round. Patio doors open from the lounge directly on to the large sunny deck with outdoor furniture. Well equipped fitted kitchen with fridge freezer, oven, hob and dishwasher. The lodge is tastefully decorated in soft greys, comfortably furnished with leather sofas, fireplace, open plan living area with vaulted wooden ceiling and high quality furniture. TV, video and Ipod docking staion, 2 mins walk to nearest pub/restaurant and close to all main attractions, shops, restaurants. For a one off payment of only £15.00 that covers everyone the whole party can enjoy use of all on-site facilities for the length of their stay including indoor heated pool, jacuzzi, gym, sauna etc. There is a lively bar, restaurant, convenience store, children's play areas and private marina all just a short stroll from the lodge.

Very close to Ambleside, Windermere, Bowness, cosy pubs, fashionable bars and excellent restaurants. Sailing and water sports enthusiasts can enjoy the superb marina and boat launching facilities on Lake Windermere. Great walks and cycling road and mountain biking on the doorstep. Free wifi provided by the Park ( may not be same standard as you have at home, but usually adequate ).parking for 2 cars, pets welcome at £15 each ( max 2 ) Short breaks are welcome most of the year please contact us for up to date availability and prices ( short breaks run Mon -Fri and Fri-Mon with a minimum 3 night stay.) Just returned from a long weekend- the lodge is beautiful - exactly as it appears onthe wwebsite. The location is perfect and on site facilities were great - would definitely recommend this property.Recommended for: Families with Young Children, Pet-friendly, Sightseeing, Age 55+, Families with Teenagers.
