This really is a very special place! Perfectly placed, within a very easy walk of the wonderful Woolacombe beach and the amenities of this delightful N Devon resort and with views to die for from the open-plan sitting-dining-kitchen ground floor and the TWO south-facing terraces! The accommodation is very well furnished and very comfortable, with a well set up kitchen (including the now essential Nespresso machine - remember to bring your capsules) and two comfortable bedrooms. We didn’t try the whirlpool bath, but it looked great. There’s a great range of information on the area (including maps) and even a PlayStation in the bottom drawer of the twin bedroom. Good parking behind the property really seals the deal. One of the neighbours even put the bin out for us. All in all, this accommodation can be recommended without reservation!
Very lucky to be able to recently stay here. The apartment is clean, spacious, with everything you would need for your stay. The jacuzzi bath was lovely to be able to enjoy! The large window in the sitting room with the spectacular views was just fabulous. Great location and just a 5 minute walk to the beach. Will definitely return when we can .
The property is even better than the description and the photos show. It is situated in a quiet road and easy to access. True, the walk back from the village using the short cut might trouble some people, but we found it more enjoyable to use the parallel road beneath the property and zigzag back up the roads, as you can even enjoy the views longer. The flat has everything you need, even had a larger TV than we expected, but we didnt really watch much TV. Both balconies are excellent for sitting and relaxing and very peaceful. The village is really nice and there are lots of places to eat and lovely walks in all directions. Mortehoe is certainly worth the walk, but we would also recommend a trip to Clovelly, which is about 40 mins by car. Would certainly recommend this property to friends and hope to come back ourselves one day. Many many thanks to Lindsay, who always asked if everything was ok and wanted to make sure we were having a great holiday.
