The Island enjoys an enviable micro climate and often you will note that whilst looking over the Solent you will be bathed in sunshine whilst the mainland is in cloud!

Wonderful Waters Edge

Excellent location
By Andrew P on 09-Aug-2021Excellent location with lovely views from the balcony. Very clean and comfortable house for family of six (2 grandparents and 2 children) couldn't fault it. Jan (owner) was very thoughtful and made sure our stay was a good one. We enjoyed the beach and the Hut at Colwell, Dinosaurs at Brook, jousting at Carisbrooke and the walk to the Old Battery (Needles) for a cream tea.

By Sc0tian_girl on 08-Aug-2021Sc0tian_girl London, United Kingdom Amazing accommodation with beautiful views Left on Aug 8, 2021 for a stay in Jul 2021 Waters Edge, hosted by Jan, is a beautiful accommodation on the Isle of Wight, within easy walking distance (even for a four year old) to the quaint town and port of Yarmouth, and a short drive from the scenic Needles, as well as access to the rest of the Isle of Wight. Jan was a fantastic host, sending us lots of recommendations for places to go and eat and drink before we'd even arrived. Upon arrival we were very impressed with the accommodation. It's in a very quiet location but has two cafés within 2-3 minutes walk. Spread over three floors, with stunning views of the Solent from the front of the property and the balcony, a back garden, and lots of lovely little touches like free slippers provided, toiletries, lots of towels, a lovely complimentary bottle of wine etc. Coffee and tea were provided, a pint of milk, lots of toilet roll and dishwasher tablets! Everything in the property is to a very high standard, the furniture, decor, etc. And everything was spotless. We couldn't fault a thing - Jan was so accommodating. Highly recommend, worth every penny and we will definitely come again someday!
