Just had a weekend break and loved it!!! Beautiful location, imaculate self catering accomodation, everything you need is on hand including extra little touches such as toiletries, tea coffee sugar and biscuits, we took our dog and it really is pet friendly, big fully enclosed garden with a gate leading to a wood with very good walks in the snow which made it extra special!!.cannot reçommend enough, will definitely be going back.

We have stayed here three times and it is always wonderful. Dog friendly and great breakfasts. Richard and Kim are very helpful and welcoming. We have stayed here when visiting our son at York University and we much prefer this place to staying in York and the journey into the city is only a short drive. Local pubs are good, as is the pizza takeaway in nearby Sherrif Hutton! Good walks immediately from the door.

Arrived here for a little getaway and couldn't be more perfect We were greeted by really friendly and polite owners who made us feel very welcome. Place is absolutely fantastic with comfortable bed and amenities, the heated floor is so nice to walk onto on cold mornings. Very close to york town centre and lots of places to visit. Thanks to Richard, Kim and Ruby the dog for making it possible :) Will definitely be back again soon Love Steve & Melissa xx
