This was our fifth stay in this lovely cottage. It is immediately welcoming from the moment you step through the gate and into the secluded courtyard. Once inside the cottage you will know you have made the right choice.
The owners of this property have ensured that anyone staying here will feel 'at home' with everything you could need for a relaxed and enjoyable stay.
The pretty village fully deserves its reputation and no matter how many times you stroll along the narrow streets or down by the river there is always something new to discover.
In fact, we love the cottage and area so much that we will be spending Christmas there this year.
Well Equipped House In Picturesque Village.
By Kim S. on 21-Aug-2016
We had a lovely time in this very well equipped House in the picturesque village of Vouvant. We ate outside on the upper terrace at lunch time and in the enclosed courtyard in the evenings. The village has a nice restaurant, bolangerie and several interesting shops and art galleries. The cycle rides on quiet roads or through the Forrest were great and the tennis court in the village easy to book. A trip to 'Little Venice' is a must, and hiring an English speaking guide is very informative on the history and wildlife of the area, go early to avoid the crowds.
We would recommend staying at this House and hope to visit again in the future.
