Staying at this lovely house is an enormous treat for our family. It is fully equipped, the garden is gorgeous, delightful swimming pool and the most friendly and welcoming owners. They helped us a lot with finding our way around. We’ve stayed now a few times and hopefully there will be many more weeks to come.
The most perfect holiday 10th - 17th June 2023 by Sue and Clive Scrivener This is our second visit and once again I cannot fault our stay at villa calicos. Last year we stayed for my 60th with our sons, daughter in laws and 2 grandchildren. The villa was even better than I had hoped. The best equipped kitchen I have ever stayed in, and there is nothing they haven’t thought of. The bedrooms are all en-suite and extremely spacious, comfy beds, plenty of hanging space and shelving. (And air conditioning in the bedrooms that is effective and not loud) Everything is a very practical size and easily caters for 8 people, with indoor and outdoor dining areas, beautiful bbq area, magnificent gardens and fabulous pool. It took a lot to get me to go out for the day because I just wanted to lounge by the pool looking at the gardens and the wonderful mountainous landscape. You’re not overlooked and there are so many comfy seating areas. Sharon and Tim (owners) were incredibly helpful before and during our time spent at the villa, and nothing is too much trouble. There is a supermarket about 10 minutes drive which has everything you need, and beaches are not too far at all. We particularly enjoyed ‘Antonio’s Restaurant’ in Montecarapacho. But the food was excellent at almost every place we visited, fish particularly good. I’m now planning to go back next year with my 3 female friends. You will not be disappointed if you choose to stay here.
What an amazing week we had at Monte Calicos. The villa is in a beautiful location with spectacular views. The villa itself is beautifully presented and spotlessly clean. It has everything you need and more. Sharon & Tim are lovely hosts and have thought of everything to make your holiday as comfortable as possible. It was our first visit but definitely not our last!
