This property is the owners second home, whilst a little difficult to find, it has the most fabulous view across the valley towards Florence. It's own bore hole fed swimming pool which doesn't have any chlorine,and is a delight to swim in. Everything is provided...just bring your own food,wine and beer. Reasonable access to Florence...about an hour by car. If you want to put your feet up by the pool this location is for you...providing you're a brave driver.
The property enjoys a stunning, elevated location within chestnut woodland. At the end of a secluded, forest road, it is a stylish, generously proportioned and very comfortable, much loved home. The views from the terrace are matchless: the Florentine plain is an unforgettable carpet of silent lights in the evening and a splendid vista by day. The pool is dramatically situated, allowing users to swim and enjoy the views. The house is well set up for entertaining al fresco but is also warm and cozy in the cooler months, with a welcoming log fire. It’s worth noting that the elevation of the property means that in the height of summer, when temperatures on the plain can be uncomfortable, it will be a useful few degrees cooler, allowing maximum enjoyment. The silence is a holiday for ears jaded by city or suburban living. Outstanding all round.
We have been visiting this lovely villa for many years and simply never tire of it. The hilltop position guarantees a breeze even if the weather is scorching and the views are breathtaking day or night. Outside dining on the shaded terrace means you can fully enjoy the beautiful setting from breakfast until dinner. The house is well equipped and aircon in the bedrooms guarantees comfort at night. It is private and spacious and the perfect setting for a family holiday. Tuscany offers a never-ending series of fabulous sight seeing and there are many first class eateries nearby, particularly in Florence.
