Amanda and Peter have created a magical spot to stay. The Barn has been beautifully done, is comfortable and spotlessly clean. It offers spectacular views and we had much pleasure sitting out on the patio. We were particularly lucky with the weather and the sunsets. I visited with my Mum who is not quite as mobile as she'd like to be. The open plan living area with a door straight out onto the patio was ideal. It is also helpful that parking is right outside in the courtyard. The peacefulness of this location was special yet it is so centrally located amidst the beauty of mid Devon and offers easy access to explore. There are many good pubs too. We also liked to walk nearby. Our dog enjoyed the freedom of playing in the field and sleeping it off in the dog bed which was provided for him. I do hope to return soon. Thank you.

Wonderfully quiet and clear of the clutter of modern life. Very well appointed and comfortable. Deep, tranquil country from the windows which we also walked in.

Absolutely gorgeous. We only stayed here 1 night but wish it was longer. A perfect little holiday cottage. Decorated lovely and extremely clean. Amanda was really friendly and helpful. We would definitely recommend. There was also a TV with a DVD player which was nice. Towels provided and a really well stocked kitchen on terms of utensils etc. Thanks Amanda!

This is a delightful place to stay! The barn has been absolutely beautifully converted and still has old charm mixed with a lovely modern kitchen and superb shower room. There was everything we could need for our stay, and very well equipped, and such a bonus to be able to park right outside. The views from the barn every morning looking out onto green fields with the sheep and chickens was just lovely. There is your own little patio with chairs and table, perfect for eating outside or a sundowner! The place was spotless and so nicely furnished. This is a wonderful part of Devon and I thoroughly recommend it as a fantastic base to explore this beautiful unspoilt part of Devon. Thank you so much Amanda and Peter for being such lovely friendly hosts!

I think we've said it all in giving top star rating! Views are calm and green and beautiful. Our hosts are friendly communicative and helpful. Altogether the best b&b we've stayed in (the 6th I think).
