Great Villa For The Whole Family
By Sue Guy on 17-Aug-2018
We have just returned from a really fantastic holiday at Villa Tejo. As a family of 6 (3 generations) we found that the villa had everything we could possibly need and it immediately felt like a real home.
The inside kitchen and BBQ area were super and very well equipped, with a massive range of everything you could need.
The rooms were very spacious and the downstairs studio was great for our 2 grown up grandchildren. The outside space was particularly good, with lots of areas that offered the option of sun and shade and the beautiful, very clean pool was a welcome relief from the hot weather.
The villa was extremely clean and there had obviously been a lot of thought to ensure a smooth arrival. This included excellent documentation which was sent before we left the UK.
Lindesay could not have been more helpful and was extremely efficient.
We have been to this lovely area before and would certainly highly recommend Villa Tejo to anyone wanting a quiet relaxing break within easy reach of Javea.

We had a really lovely holiday here in July 2018, families with teenagers. Here are the things we really enjoyed about the villa
1. The villa is really secluded with fantastic views, Very private and quiet.
2.The large saltwater swimming pool, Great for swimming and games.
3. Huge area around the pool, including large canopies which can be reeled in or out for shade/sun.
4. Air conditioning in every bedroom and the sitting room.
5. Lovely outdoor sitting/dinning room on the balcony, great for breakfast
6. Outdoor kitchen with BBQ and it's own dishwasher! Fantastic if you like cooking some evenings
7. Walking distance to good local restaurants
8. 10 minute drive to a beautiful harbour and beach area
9. The villa is located in a really beautiful part of Spain - lovely scenery.
10. Really spacious house,
11. 4 bathrooms, and an outdoor shower and toilet - no q's for bathrooms
We wish we could have stayed longer.
Splendid Villa, Conveniently Located
By Jack on 06-Jul-2018
Villa Tejo is a wonderful place to spend time with family and friends beneath the craggy cliffs and caves of Montgó, a mini-mountain towering above the villa.
The villa and its gardens are spacious and well appointed with plenty of space to socialise or if preferred to hide a away with a book. Good wi-fi. Well equipped kitchens (inside & out).
The property is within walking distance of three reasonable restaurants and many more a short drive away (some I believe offering take-away meals).
Great for kids, teens, millennials and grandparents.
5 min drive to nearest shop, 10 min drive to Javea for better shops, market and much more.
Best sandy beach half hour north in Oliva (Urbanització Aigua Blanca) – Oliwood Beach nr. LayDown Rest.Beach Club.
Owner is very helpful with information and made the booking process easy – hope to return soon.
All IN ALL WE CANNOT RECOMMEND VILLA TEJO HIGHLY ENOUGH
By Richard on 28-Jun-2018
We have not long returned from a 10 day holiday at Villa Tejo & we missed it it as soon as we left. We have been staying in villas and self-contained accommodation all over the world for many years & this is without doubt the best equipped we have ever enjoyed. It has obviously been used a lot by the owners as it has absolutely everything we could have needed & was a real home-from-home. The list of things to wax lyrical about is a long one;we were there with another family in a total party of 9 with late teenage kids & and our 'best bits' included the sheer space for us to spread out. The outdoor kitchen, having blinds & adjustable shades absolutely everywhere so you could always sit where you wanted to in the shade rather than having to move out of the sun,a great pool & garden, lots of parking, privacy & quiet & a wonderful, ever changing view of Mount Montgo behind the villa.
It is close enough to pop to the shops but also has a few really good restaurants close enough to walk to. We didn't have any issues whilst we were there but shared some minor observations largely for the owners' information & even these were acted on immediately.
The communication before, during & after our stay was exemplary. We've stayed in this area before but never walked up Mount Mongo. We did it this time - just over 4 hours round trip - & really enjoyed it for the great views & trying to spot Villa Tejo from the top (which we did). Just don't do it when rain is threatened or in the heat of the day. We also ate in a number of Javea's restaurants, mainly on the Arenal promenade. The villa has excellent local information including personal recommendations from the owners' own experince which would have you eating in three different places every day for a two week stay & still not exhaust the list. All in all we cannot recommend Villa Tejo highly enough. Enjoy!

Beautiful villa with plenty of space for our family. We found everything just as described. The rooms were very comfortable and the living space great to relax in. Lots of spaces outside to eat/relax and great swimming pool. With the mountain as a backdrop it really is a beautiful place. There are a few nice restaurants nearby or the old town or arenal and beach are a short drive away with plenty of bars and restaurants. Booking with Lindesay was easy and he was really helpful with everything we needed. I would recommend this villa and Hopefully we will visit again someday.

PERFECT, WELL EQUIPPED & WELL LOCATED VILLA
By Mrs Sylvia Hughes on 23-Apr-2018
Perfect, well equipped and located villa. We are a family of 7 adults and 1 toddler who spent a week over Easter 2018 at this villa. The owner was extremely helpful and prompt. All the instructions were very helpful and much appreciated. The bedroom and bathroom configuration were ideal for us. The twin room and double room with kitchen and bathroom downstairs was a perfect arrangement for the toddler and his parents. It is extremely well equipped both outside and inside. We particularly appreciated the filtered water on tap , juicer, coffee machine and Netflix! There is a spacious well kept garden, plenty of space to sit and eat or sit outside in the sun or shade. As it was only March, the pool heating was essential for us. We loved the location as it is very quiet but easy to get into Xabia and you can walk to several restaurants. We had a wonderful and very reasonably priced meal at Gauchos. The location suited all our group including the walkers, cyclists and those who needed a snooze by the pool. I do do hope we can stay at this beautiful villa again in the future.

We stayed at Villa Tejo for a week in October with 8 adults and 1 toddler, and found it to be the perfect size for us. The indoor and outdoor areas were all large enough to enjoy each other's company, while having room to escape and have a quiet moment. The villa is in a stunning location, off a quiet road and overlooked by the stunning Montgo mountain. There were lots of great restaurants within walking distance, with a little supermarket just up the road. We enjoyed exploring the area including Denia, Javea and Moreira - all a short, easy drive away. The more adventurous of us climbed the Montgo and loved it!
We loved our holiday here. We felt at home as soon as we arrived and enjoyed having the option of dining in or eating out. We had lots of useful information before arriving about how to access the property and what to do/where to eat in the local area.
The highlight of the holiday was watching my husband sitting on the terrace sipping a G&T, gazing at the spectacular view and just relaxing! Think that sums up the property - the perfect place to unwind and enjoy Spanish life.

Very comfortable villa with nice pool and plenty of outdoor space, shady and sunny. Easy to find and well located. Pretty much had everything you could need and well maintained, owner very helpful and quick to respond. Facilities were all clean and it had everything you could need, pool seating. BBQ etc. About 90 minutes from the airport to door.
We Highly Recommend This Villa
By Amanda on 09-Sep-2017
There were 9 of us holidaying here ranging from 6 - 82 years old. The villa is spacious and well equipped.Nice touches such as a Nespresso coffee maker, ice making fridge freezer, filtered water tap. All the bathrooms are large and modern. The lounge is particularly lovely ,bright and open, huge windows, superb aircon as it was boiling when we were there, equally you could tell it would be homely during a winter break. The naya is a lovely spot to sit in the evening. We recommend turning the sunloungers around to face the Montgo - which is close up and fantastic .bring some binoculars and watch the hill walkers climb along the Montgo's spine. my husband got up at 6am to walk it. The surrounding area was quiet no noise from anywhere. very relaxing. The pool is lovely and the loungers are new and really comfortable. we found the outdoor kitchen really useful for drinks around the pool etc. It is a great base to zip straight into the old town within 5 minutes in the car, or a 5 minute walk from the family run Mongto restaurant. walkable good restaurant good restaurant was a bonus in our book. We highly recommend this villa.
Perfect In Every Way!

Gorgeous home from home villa with everything you can possibly need.
Set back at the foot of Montgo you get the seclusion and quiet of a luxury villa but only minutes away from the busy Arenal with a great beach and restaurants!
Perfect In So Many Ways!
By Rachel on 18-Jul-2017
Great villa in a fabulous location. We really enjoyed our holiday. The property lived up to the description and more - a lovely home from home in beautiful surroundings. Comfortable and well equipped and any queries were answered promptly by the owner.
The villa offered perfect tranquillity nestled under the stunning Montgo Mountain (an active challenge for the fit). Spacious and welcoming accommodation provides good sized bedrooms as well as many delightful communal areas to suit all needs. A short car ride into Javea offers a bustling evening out with a variety of restaurants and a lively nightlife.
For a family / friends holiday this is the perfect base that offers something for all ages - we cant wait for a return visit.

Wonderful Villa To Relax And Unwind March 2017
By Martin on 17-Apr-2017
Villa Tejo is the perfect place to relax and enjoy the peace and quiet. The view from the swimming pool of the mountain as a back drop to the villa is spectacular. The villa is only an 8 minute drive to the beach and old town. There are a couple of lovely restaurants nearby and a local supermarket with a Deli counter with organic produce .we spent a long weekend in the villa, and it has everything you need, we enjoyed it so much that we hardly left the villa. We loved that the villa has so many places to hang out, including the comfortable terrace over looking the gardens,an outdoor BBQ area, pool and garden and the cozy living room with a log fire! I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Villa Tejo. Lindesay the owner is very kind and provided us with all the information we needed to get to the villa and to make us feel at home. Thanks again, we can't wait to come back.
