This 3 bedroom apartment has a great location in the centre of a quiet pedestrianized village. On the lower floor there is a large living and dining area with adjoining kitchen. The new kitchen is well equipped with dishwasher and clothes washer and all the usual kitchen accessories. The living room has a 32in flat screen TV and blue-ray player. There is a new bathroom with whirlpool bath. One double bedroom is on the lower floor and the other two are on the upper floor with the showeroom, with a large walk-in rain shower. From the south-facing balcony you have great views over the piste and nursery slopes. There is easy access to the slopes from the two gondola lifts. One lift is a 200m ski from the apartment, while the other is 50m walk to the top of the village. A new piste for 2012 means that is even easier to ski back to the apartment. Free WiFi is now available in the apartment.
A well equipped and nicely decorated apartment, very comfortable and well located in the middle of Oz. The village is peaceful, very suitable for families, with easy access to great walks, bike hire and cable cars - in a couple of rides we were 3000m up the breathtaking Pic Blanc. The village also has all the basics you need – groceries, restaurants, swimming pool and sports hall for rainy days. And plenty of pretty villages et cetera if you want to go for a drive. Thoroughly recommend.
A really lovely apartment done up to a high quality standard. Set in a beautiful location with wonderful views of the surrounding mountains from the balcony Apartment has all that you need for a great stay - really well equipped kitchen with dishwasher & washing machine and all other mod cons you would need to self cater. Plenty of room to sleep & cater for 6 in this lovely open plan apartment. Downstairs bedroom with luxury bathroom with whirlpool bath, and 2 more twin bedrooms and walk in shower bathroom upstairs. The village has plenty of facilities for a summer visit - shops and sports facilities (swimming pool & badminton / table tennis for the odd wet day) as well as 2 separate cable Car routes up the mountain. Also plenty of places to visit in the local area for walking, cycling or just visiting markets. I would thoroughly recommend this apartment as a great base to explore this area in the summer.
We would highly recommended Mark’s apartment. There was plenty of space for the 5 of us and we really liked the open plan layout of the living space . The kitchen was very well equipped and it was great to have a bathroom and a shower room. The only down side was that it would have been nice to have two pillows each - perhaps they were tucked away somewhere . The location was fantastic- totally ski in ski out . The locker room downstairs worked very well too. We had a lovely time and Mark was incredibly efficient and helpful too. Hopefully we will return one day.
We have returned to this apartment for several years. Its central position puts it in a few minutes reach of everything you need. Ski-out and ski-in. The balcony gives the best view in Oz, straight down the main street and beyond to several pistes. I'm sure we will be back.
The location of this apartment is fantastic. It is ski from the door and is exacty as described. It was a fantastic kitchen and really well equipped. The ski area is great. The owner Mark could not do enough for us and supplied all information needed..i have booked ski apartments for many years and we have already booked this again for next year. This is the first time that I have booked again for the same. Thanks Mark.
This was our 6th time in Oz so we know the village well and have stayed in most of the apartment blocks. Mark's apartment in Les Myrtilles was by far our favourite. It's right in the centre of the village with no less than 3 balconies and spectacular views. The apartment itself was the best equipped we'd stayed in with everything from pancake pans, rucksacks and a French mobile phone! Two of the bedrooms were generously sized and the third perfect for children. Arrival and departure very easy and straightforward and Mark was incredibly helpful. Highly recommended!
