3 bedroom 2 bathroom traditional self-catering Trulli in Puglia, Italy. Two large bedrooms that can be double or twin and one small single room. Two trulli next to each other in a rural setting, glorious views and countryside. Swimming pool shared between the 2 properties. From March 1st the pool is solar heated,. Family friendly, 20 minutes to beach and sea. Set amongt its own olive trees and overlooking vineyards. No other property within a mile. Complete privacy. Traditional rustic renovation. Each trullo completed to highest standard. Brand new bathrooms and kitchens. Microwave included with the oven. Well equipped kitchen. Locally made wrought iron beds. Crisp linen, fluffy towels provided. Outdoor terraces and dining, traditional Barb-b-qs. Renovated with new bathrooms\showers. Double and twin bedded rooms, with a utility room between the properties offering washing machine, drier, iron, etc. Perfect summer rental hideaway\ The two properties are in more than a hectare of land that renters can explore and use - great for the children to run around in!

The trullo was purchased and renovated as our family holiday home and Italian dream. Therefore everything is done to a much higher standard than typical holiday accommodation. For example the pool is full size. Expensive oak was used rather than cheaper pine because oak was the traditional material. As much opf the original stone as possible was used. The kitchen has far more equipment than standard self catering.

We wanted the perfect combination of beautiful countryside, but no more than 5 minutes' drive from the facilities of a good local village with restaurants and shops. We searched more than 100 properties before finding the perfect spot with great views as well!

We spent a long time finding a genuinely private site - many trulli are very close to each other as they were originally agricultural storage. Yet we wanted facilities of Alberobello nearby. Many trulli are cheaply converted. We spent extra to have authentic oak rather than cheap pine, have fittings made to fit original dimensions rather than change things to fit manufactured goods. We have spent time and money on every detail to make this our bit of heaven. Traditional rustic Puglia, yet with all modern conveniences.

With air conditioning in every bedroom for the summer, underfloor central heating for cooler Spring and Autumn nights.

The trullo is surrounded by olive trees. We actually produce our own olive oil and even provide some of the oil produced from the grove around the trullo as a welcome gift for our guests!

Lovely stay in a quiet location

By James T. on 22-Jun-2019

We spent a brilliant week at Trullo Alto. The setting is beautiful and secluded with a great view of rolling hills from the outside dining area. The pool was great and the trullo was well stocked with appliances and equipment. The living area was a little small given we had a toddler with us and all of her things, but we spent most of our time outside so it wasnt too problematic. Both Mark and the lady who checked us in were super helpful and I would definitely consider staying again. Thanks!

Merveilleux !

By Virginie B. on 04-Aug-2018

L'emplacement est parfait, au calme et sans aucune nuisance. Le Trulli est très propre, confortable et bien équipé.
La piscine est suffisamment grande pour bien en profiter. A recommander les yeux fermés ! Excellente location.

Loved our stay in Trullo Alto!

By Sandra W. on 18-Apr-2018

We found the trullo to be well stocked with everything we needed during our stay. We didn’t have a chance to use the pool as we were too busy visiting the beautiful surrounding towns and driving the crazy, narrow country roads. We only stayed 3 nights but could have easily stayed longer just for the chance to spend more time relaxing at the trullo.

Delightful property in Puglia near Alberobello

By Jennifer N. on 04-Sep-2017

Trullo Alto is beautifully situated and well kitted out, with countryside views and close to picturesque hilltop towns of note and good restaurants. Amenities like a small supermarket and petrol are not far away. Very pleasant holiday with lovely weather

Great, well equipped Trulli in lovely location

By Deborah L. on 04-Sep-2016

The Trulli were lovely. We had concerns after booking that this was not a bona fide place due to problems with internetu002Fhacking etc. but they are most certainly as good or better than described. As soon as the balance was paid we were put in contact with the local, Englsih speaking agent who met us on arrival and was available if problems should arise.

The photos are absolutely genuine and I have very similar views with my ordinary phone camera. If anything the place is better than the photos. The Trulli have been equipped to a high standard and the minor matters we flagged up with the agent were resolved that day. The pool and grounds are maintained regularly and the property properly cleaned between rentals.
We had dreadful weather but still very much enjoyed the area. There are lots of small towns to visit, the beach is sand castle digging sand and there are bigger more interesting towns to visit within reach. We hired bikes and found the terrain comfortable with little places to visit for a coffee or beer. We plan a return visit next year when we hope for less thunderstorms!
