Our property is a modern beautifully appointed two bedroom ground floor apartment in a 21 unit condominium just 35 minutes drive from Faro Airport. The spacious property sleeps four with a cot and a high chair available for an additional baby. Our apartment is licenced with the local authority with an up to date safety certificate for inspection of electrics and safety equipment eg smoke alarms, fire extinguishers first aid kit etc. The apartment is spacious and fully air conditioned. It is strictly non smoking .
We maintain the property to the very highest standards as it is actually our own home from home and is used regularly by us and our grown up family. Stag or hen type groups are discouraged for this reason.
Our proximity to Albufeira Old Town and the Marina rather than the Strip which is some distance away makes it far more suited to couples or families. The property has a basement garage with a lift and is therefore reasonably wheelchair friendly .There are handrails in the shower room/toilet.
The premises is situated on a side road opposite the Boa Vista Hotel near Albufeira Old Town. There are some sea views from the veranda and area is mainly residential with a few local bars, restaurants and an excellent local supermarket within five minutes walk. There are also Liddle and Aldi supermarkets within a 20 minute walk. The Old Town and the Marina are both just a 15 minutes stroll away.
We have a WiFi fed Smart TV with most UK television channels available and full internet service.
The complex has a small unheated pool (about 20 metres long) at the rear of the condominuim with an adjoining toddler pool. There are about 15 communal sunbeds around the pool which are taken on a first come first served basis . The Pool is sheltered on all four sides and is a suntrap from spring until autumn. The pool area does get quite crowded in peak season and guests are advised to enjoy the beaches the nearest of which is about 10 minutes walk down the hill.
This consists of an entrance hallway leading to bedrooms, shower room, kitchen, and living room/dining room.
Master bedroom- double bed , bedside tables, large fitted wardrobe, chest of drawers . Hair drier. The room has double sliding doors and electric shutters leading to the veranda. En suite bathroom with bath, and over bath shower with glass shower screen, WC, Bidet, and hand basin.
Bedroom 2 - Two single beds, bedside tables and built in wardrobe. 2 x easy chairs with double sliding doors and electric shutter leading to veranda.
Shower room - corner shower unit with hand rail, WC with handrail , and hand basin.
Kitchen- large open plan with granite worktops. Ceramic touch control hob , electric fan oven, dishwasher, washing machine,tumble drier, extractor fan, microwave, electric kettle, toaster, large fridge freezer. cupboard with ironing board and iron.The kitchen is extremely well equipped with saucepans dishes, cafetiere etc etc and all manner of implements for full self catering.
Lounge diner - 3 seater leather sofa, 2 x easy chairs, Smart TV, DVD player on sideboard containing book and games library. Dining table and 4 chairs. Two double sliding doors leading to the veranda. Bedroom floors are wooden, all other interior floors are marble tiled.
Veranda- although a ground floor apartment the veranda is over 2 metres above street level fronted by a mature shrub garden, with beautiful climbing bougainvillea and a solid fence . It is therefore both private and child safe. The veranda is south facing and extends the whole width of the apartment making it 15 metres long x about 2 metres deep. The veranda has a large wooden dining table, 4 chairs, and two sunbeds. There is a container at the end of the veranda with a selection of beach toys.
All linen bedding, bath and hand towels are provided. Beach/pool towels are available to rent for £4.00 each per stay . For guests staying for 14 nights or more our cleaners with provide a complimentary weekly change of towels and bed linen. For shorter stays this can be arranged on request for a small additional charge.
Change over days are negotiable and we ask for a £200 security bond to cover major issues such as lost keys etc.
As a courtesy all of our clients are met on arrival at the apartment by our English speaking representative who will hand you the keys, show you around the property and answer any questions you may have.

Return stay

We recently returned to this apartment for a long weekend winter break and we were so pleased to find that everything about it was still to the excellent high standards that they were last year. (see our review from March 2018). The rooms were immaculate and all the amenities that you would expect for a self catering holiday were available. Can't fault anything about the apartment and will definitely be returning.

Had a 4 day break in Albuferia in this lovely apartment, it is roomy, clean and comfortable. It was like home from home , fully equipped, they thought of everything. Close to beach and plenty of restaurants and bars in walkng distance. Would definately stay there again

Happy holidays

We have stayed at the apartment three times and enjoyed all our stays one was for eight weeks. The apartment is in a good location as it is between the marina and the centre of Albufiera both are within about 10 minutes walk but often takes longer as you admire the views. Takes a bit longer on the way back as it is up hill but manageable. Also as it is not on the tourist side it is quieter and it is possible to go out to Lagos etc without going through the town. There is a supermarket within five minutes that sells most things and is good value for money.

The apartment is on the ground floor. We have not tried the swimming pool as we go in late winter but imagine it is a real asset in the summer. The apartment is well equipped and has WiFi and also the TV is streamed giving a great choice. The lounge, kitchen and dining area is open plan and easily copes with four adults. The kitchen is well equipped with a large fridge, freezer, washer/dryer, microwave and a dish washer One of the bedrooms has an en suite and so the other bedroom which is next to the shower/toilet room is almost like another en suite. Although the balcony is long and narrow as it is accessible from the lounge and both bedrooms there is plenty of room. It is wide enough for four people to sit around the table and there are some lounge beds on the patio as well. The owners also offer to arrange a hire car and this has always gone well although it is best to take out annual hire car insurance as with any rental company it doesn't cover everything. There is parking outside the apartment which we used most of the time but there is also underground garage parking which I imagine is a god send during the summer.

I always feel that the most important test of any rental is what happens if there is an issue and how that is dealt with by the owners. The property has a management team to greet and support you during the holiday and they are very friendly, accessible and helpful. They will also give advice on the best wine to buy. The owners have always been extremely helpful and have asked about what would make our trip better. Any suggestions we have made have been implemented by our next visit.

I am sure that anyone renting the apartment will be happy with their choice and will have a good time

Lovely apartment our opinion

My wife and I have stayed in Dale and Jacky's well appointed and imaculate apartment on numerous occasions. We return there because of its superb location and amenities. It really is lovely. It's situated on the ground floor of a small secure condominium in a quiet part of Albufeira only a few minutes walk away from the old town and Fishermans Beach. The apartment has a large open plan living room that includes a modern kitchen with everything we have ever needed. There are two bedrooms, one en-suite and also a separate shower room. The balcony is south facing private and gets the sun most of the day so we make good use of the loungers, we take all our meals el fresco out there. We have already booked to go back again in this summer.

It is so well equipped even down to a torch for the dark nights.

You have thought of everything. It is like home from home.

Normally Dean is ready go home after a few days but this time he did not want to come home.

We have used this apartment many times.

We have visited this apartment as a family of 4 (2 adults and 2 children), consecutively for about 7 years now. The apartment is always very clean and well looked after .It's spacious, airy and welcoming with a modern feel to it with all the utilities and facilities needed. It is ideally located near the old part of the town but is far enough away from the busier pubs and cafe’s to be enjoyably quiet but easy walking distance of the main square the beach and the marina. The apartment block has a pool in the centre which is a great sun trap in the afternoon and early evenings.
We found the location of the apartment provides easy access to many areas of the Algarve either by local bus. We really recommend the location and the apartment to families and couples and continue to visit regularly. Excellent value for money and the owners always book our transfers from the airport for us.

We were so impressed, we’ve booked to return for longer in July 2018
The location is ideal, it’s very well equipped, with everything you would want. It really is home from home.
