Very spacious and stylish 3 bedroom ground floor duplex apartment in the prestigious Nou Fontana complex, just 5 minutes' walk to the main Arenal beach area in Javea with its many bars and restaurants.

The complex has a fabulous 45 metre long swimming pool with fountain and jacuzzi, surrounded by palm trees and beautiful gardens. The pool is only 50 metres from the apartment. The complex is situated right next to a small marina with a first rate restaurant at the edge of the complex. The complex also has a gymnasium, steam room and padel tennis court. Near to the marina small boats can be hired for trips along the coast.

The apartment has recently been refurbished with the most modern facilities. The apartment is particularly light and spacious, and has fibre broadband wif-fi and ducted air conditioning throughout. Most of the pictures in the apartment are original art, painted by a local English artist who lives in Javea.

Fully equipped modern kitchen with American fridge/freezer, dishwasher, washing machine, microwave, main oven & grill, steam oven, induction hob and Japanese teppanyaki griddle, nespresso coffee machine, milk frother. Filtered water system means that no purchasing of bottled water is needed.

Extremely spacious living room with dining area. Large flat screen TV with satellite connection enabling reception of UK channels. DVD player and sound system with Bluetooth connection for playing music from 'phones or MP3 players.

French windows from the lounge and kitchen lead onto a south facing private sun deck, with barbecue and outside dining facilities. A sun awning can be wound out to give shade over the deck area if required. Sun loungers are available for the sun deck and swimming pool area.

Upstairs there are 3 large bedrooms. 2 are double rooms, and the third has twin beds which can be made up as a double if required. The master bedroom has an ensuite shower room with twin sinks. There is also another shower room on this floor, and a third shower room on the ground floor.

On booking we will provide an instruction sheet for the apartment, which will include a set of directions from the airport and other information about the apartment and local area.

Guests will be met at the apartment by Julie, who lives locally. She will show you round the apartment, give you a set of keys and answer any questions you may have. Please note that for arrivals at night time we are charged extra for meeting guests, and this is a charge that we have to pass on as an extra to the rental.

Javea has 3 distinct areas - the Arenal, the Port and the Pueblo. The Arenal Beach is popular with families and older people alike providing a large safe sandy beach, lots of water sports and a promenade with many fine bars, restaurants and nightclubs. The port area is very picturesque with a totally different ambiance with its fishing fleet landing fresh fish daily, the marina, shops and again many excellent bars and restaurants. The old town (Pueblo) is slightly set back from the coast and is a typical small Moorish-style village with narrow blind-alley streets and white-washed houses, and has a truly Spanish feel. There is an indoor market and many shops, art galleries and a museum. In the summer months there are wonderful festivals with spectacular fireworks, the Fiesta de San Juan is in June and the Moors and Christians festival in July.

Areas of interest and tourist attractions.: About 30 minutes drive away is Benidorm, with many spectacular attractions including the Aqualandia water theme park, the Mundomar dolphin water park and Terra Mitica - the new theme park boasting some of the largest rides in Europe.

20 minutes drive over the Montgo headland brings you to the delightful cosmopolitan town of Denia. Rich in history and culture, its streets are a fascinating showcase of architecture through the ages. Its buildings are a permanent monument to the civilisations that have made their mark here. The focal point is the impressive 16th century castle. The beautiful historic village of Guadalest set in the mountains is a place not to be missed by the visitor along with the 'Waterfalls of Algar', other nearby towns include Moraira, Calpe, Benissa, Teulada.

Nearby golf courses.: The closest golf courses are Club de Golf Javea with 9 holes, Club de Golf Ifach Moraira also with 9 holes. Approximately 12 km away is the larger Club de Golf La Sella in Denia with 18 holes and a further 10km is the Seve Ballesteros Club de Golf Oliva again with 18 holes.


Excellent accommodation in good location

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here in this apartment. The lounge, bedrooms and terrace were very spacious. The communal pool was great and very quiet whenever we used it. The location of the apartment was great as it only took a few minutes to walk to the beach via the marina path. The TV and wi-fi were excellent. The beds were very comfy, the showers were good and there were plenty of sunbeds and chairs of good quality to use. We would definitely stay here again. Many thanks Jackie & Peter Thomas

Brilliant Apartment

Great stay at this duplex apartment. Very comfortable for our group of six . Spacious bedrooms and comfortable lounge /dining area . Enough utensils in the kitchen to self cater if you want to. Mercadona supermarket is about half a mile away. The terrace is a great suntrap although it does get very hot in the August sun. No issues with beds by the pool as there are sunbeds and chairs in the apartment for you to take. Only decision is where to put them. Plenty of space, both in the sun and the shade. Only a leisurely 10 minute stroll to the beach and it's numerous restaurants.

Excellent apartment

The apartment was very stylish and welcoming. Very clean and very spacious. Situated in a very pleasant complex with a lovely swimming pool. We were near to the strip of Javea with many good restaurants and bars. I would highly recommend this apartment and its location.

Fabulous Apartment

We had a wonderful two weeks at Mark and Sally's apartment. Modern, clean, spacious, well equipped apartment. The beds were super comfy and everything was catered for right down to a fully sprung mattress for the travel cot. Highlights for our our trip with two young children were; large terrace, beautiful gardens and pool all within a 5 minute walk to Arenal beach. We will be booking again for another trip next year.

Only 10 mins stroll to bars and restaurants on the Arenal beach. Quiet location and very easy to park. Very modern, light and spacious apartment over two floors. The weather wasn't great for us but when it is the outside deck will be a great sun trap.

I booked this apartment for a trip down memory lane for my mother and brother. The lady who cares for the apartment, Julie, was delightful and could not have been more helpful, as were Mark and Sally right through the process. The apartment is modern, sleek and luxurious. Also very secure with the automatic door and window shutters. The location is perfect being a short stroll from the Arenal. Would not hesitate to come again.
