The farmer’s house has been renovated to transform it into a comfortable holiday house, located in the famous vineyards and olive groves of Lucca.
Sleeps 4 people in beds and 1 in a sofa bed, this house is surrounded by beautiful scenery. With many original features throughout such as an ancient stone sink, this property is a perfect Tuscan get away with lots of character. The outdoor area is absolutely beautiful, with many ancient trees that provide perfect shaded areas and a lovely garden. There is a pizza oven and for the guests to use as well as a ping pong table and 5x5m round swimming pool. Only 12km from the medieval art city of Lucca, 25km from Pisa, only 40km from Viareggio and Forte dei Marmi beach and 80km from Florence, this house is perfectly situated to experience the best Tuscany has to offer.
Located in a quiet, small scenic village of Tofori, the farmhouse is set in an olive farm and surrounded by the famous Lucca hills, vineyards and grand noble villas. The next farm, visible from the property, is famous for its fantastic wine production and guests are invited to tour the vineyard as well as join in on wine, food and olive oil tastings. There is a bar/cafe only 10 minutes walk from the property as well as a restaurant. The famous wine village of San Gennaro is only 20 minutes walk, where there is another restaurant and cafe/bar. You can buy good wine very cheaply there. In addition there is a well stocked mini market only 10 minutes walk away.
The owners produce delicious olive oil on the farm and they are always delighted to invite their guests to have olive oil tastings free of charge.

Myself my wife and our 2 boys couldn't be happier with the 2 weeks we spent here. Special thankyou to Paola and Enrico who made us feel so welcome and that nothing was to much hassle. There to help with anything when needed and at the sametime absent when you didn't. Paola was so good with the boys and they really were sad to leave her! Villa is in a perfect location to discover Tuscany and all it has to offer with breath taking views and perfect surroundings to enjoy, it's even better than the pictures! Loads of things to do within an hours drive and Lucca is a must with a cycle ride around the walls aswell, went back 3 times as loved so much! Very well stock small shop within a few minutes drive aswell as a fantastic local restaurant ran by Carla and her family many things grown/made by themselves including the red wine which is delicious! We came for a family adventure of Tuscany and we weren't disappointed 2 weeks of fantastic weather, food, wine, coffee, the villa, Paola/Enrico and they wonderful family were the cherry on top and we will definitely will be returning, boys asking everyday already to go back! :-) You will not be disappointed if choose to stay here!

After a busy time visiting Milan and Rome, this villa was a real delight! A fantastic location and a really good base to visit Pisa, Florence and Lucca. Paulo was a really friendly and pleasant host with excellent English. Although the weather wasn't good enough to use the pool, we could really see the attraction of the pool against the beautiful background.
tranquil, lovely property with amazing views.

We had such a lovely time at Falampa- our party- 2 adults and 2 children enjoyed the spacious and traditional accommodation for 2 relaxing weeks. we have never stayed anywhere that had such a great array of cooking untensils and facilities The fact that the lovely Paola and Enrico and Aurora were on site to give advice and help only added to our enjoyment. The views from the lovely spacious pool are amazing. Aurora gave us a pizza making lesson which our kids especially enjoyed- thank you Aurora !!
we would highly recommend visiting the nearby town of Lucca ( 15-20 mins drive) as its lovely streets and great restaurants are a delight. please take recommendations from owners ad do not miss out on the great Gelatto shop that has swings inside !!!
Although there no restaurants within easy walking distance of the property - we where delighted that Paola and Aurora gave us transport both to and back so that we could both enjoy the local wines at ease !!!
We would also recommend a visit to the local winery Frattoria Fubbiano where you can do a vineyard visit, tasting and light lunch for a very reasonable price.
if you would like to visit further afield to Florence the train from Lucca is inexpensive, comfortable and great to do. we left our car at the station overnight and everything was fine.
Molte grazie, Paola, Enrico & Aurora e speriamo di rivederti
We really enjoyed our holiday in this villa, and would recommend to everyone. It was a truly relaxing family break. The villa is in a great location and a good base to explore Lucca and the surrounding villages. Paola and Enrico were so lovely and welcoming, they supported by their charming daughter Aurora. Nothing was too much trouble and we had a wonderful evening when Aurora cooked for us, I would highly recommend this.
The villa is clean and tidy and was perfect for our needs, we enjoy cooking and the kitchen was well equipped. The pool was the highlight for my teenagers and they spent hours laying in the pool gazing down the valley looking at the most incredible views. The peace and quiet in the evenings was to be treasured and enjoyed.
We would love to go back and stay once again with this lovely family, on a traditional Olive farm and set in such beautiful countryside.
Once of our best holidays

Our first stay in Tuscany and I believe we picked the perfect villa for us.
Location: set near the wonderful old town of Lucca in a small village nestled in the beautiful hills, the villa is a great position for exploring Northern Tuscany and countryside. It's 45 min to Pisa, an hour to Florence and an hour and three quarters to Sienna.
Villa: lovely cool villa (aircon in both bedrooms) on an olive farm. The kitchen has everything you need and more - including an amazing stone sink , the dining room has comfortable furniture, TV, lovely fireplace with huge long wooden mantle. The bedrooms are fine, the second one with 2 single beds a bit small but it is really a converted out-room with a door to outside. The property has a lovely veranda with swing seat and an amazing view of the hills - perfect with an evening drink. The pool is big round and fun! It has recliners and a shaded table , there's also a wooden swing that 'grown-up children' can use as well as kids. There's also a great BBQ area and loads of tables and seating around - choose your lunch / dinner spot! One tip: watch out for the mozzies - were came ill-prepared and my son got bitten on the first day. No problem though once we knew and used repellent.
Owners: Paola and Enrico are two of the loveliest people you could meet. They were so helpful and generous, which just makes your stay perfect. They were there when you needed and absent when you didn't, they also have 2 friendly cats and a very old dog.
Tips/suggestions: Lucca for dinner out, an evening cycle on the wall, or just getting lost in the backstreets. Pistoia market on a Saturday morning, Grotta Del Vento underground caves, Canyon Park for zip-wiring, paddle-boarding, picnic lunch by the river near the Ponte del Diavolo, hot chocolate (in fact any chocolate) at the wonderful cafe in Castelnuovo di Garfagnana, drink the water of life in Bagni di Lucca, marvel in Florence & Sienna, hang out at the leaning tower in Pisa, visit Livorno on the coast - and if you have time, hang out at the pool!
Thank you Paola and Enrico

We had a fantastic stay at the Villa and the owners Paola and Enrico are the nicest people! We would highly recommend the Villa and hope to return again next year!
The villa's is beautiful and the position is great over looking hilly olive groves and vineyards for miles. We used the Villa as a base for day trips to Pisa, Florence, Cinque Terre and of course beautiful Lucca all of which are within easy driving distance of the villa so there's loads to do when not lounging by the pool.
Lovely spacious villa set in beautiful grounds

Falampa is a very special place to spend a week's holiday (or longer!!). The accommodation is very clean and spacious, the bedrooms remain cool even when the outside temperatures are at their hottest, the kitchen has everything you could possibly need (and more!). The swimming pool and poolside area is lovely - perfect for relaxing in the sun and we all enjoyed cooling off and playing in the large pool. Our sons (Alex, 20 and Will, 17) also really appreciated the use of the table tennis table - a real bonus to have this facility.
The villa's location is excellent for visiting the hills to the north or going into the beautiful town of Lucca where we hired bikes and cycled along the wall that surrounds the old city.
We were lucky to discover that the Lucca Summer Festival was on during our stay and we bought tickets to see Neil Young - what a special venue to see a music legend.
Lastly, an absolute joy for us was to meet Paola, Enrico and Aurora. They were the most gracious, kind and helpful hosts - they did everything they could to make our experience special. We can't thank them enough for all their help and advice - lovely, lovely people.
We very much hope to return to Falampa in the future as there is so much more for us yet to see in the local area and we will definitely recommend this property to family and friends.
