Our apartment is on the sixth floor of a landmark block (with two lifts) at the heart of Benalmadena. Both the living room and the bedroom open out onto a full width balcony with spectacular south west views across the gardens and swimming pools to the sea.

A patio table and chairs are provided as this is an excellent spot for a “sundowner”.

Inside, the property which was recently (May 15) fully refurbished to exacting standards, comprises:

One bedroom with twin beds and full width mirror wardrobes, bedside cupboards and lamps and patio doors.

Lounge with a generous double sofa bed, a dining area, TV and doors out to the balcony.

The fully fitted kitchen is comprehensively appointed with oven, grill, microwave, induction hob, fridge, integrated dishwasher, juicer, kettle and toaster.

There is also a washing machine, clothes airer, and an iron/board.

Ample crockery and miscellaneous utensils are available. As such the apartment is extremely suitable for long lets.

There is a sleek bathroom with a sumptuous walk in shower.

All bedding and hand/bath towels are provided. You will also not need to bring a hairdryer as a good quality one is available in the bathroom.

The apartment sits in manicured grounds with sun umbrellas (Please bring your own beach towels) and 3 swimming pools with life guard (seasonal) and a children’s pool.

Both bedroom and lounge have separate remote controlled air conditioning units. The patio doors all have electric shutters which keeps the rooms cool and dark when required. Also the balcony has two adjustable awnings to protect against too much sun. Hence whilst surprisingly hot during the winter months the temperature can be kept down when required in summer.

It’s position on the seafront in the centre of the resort means that there is an abundance of shops/supermarkets, bars and restaurants surrounding the property.

Buses to Malaga, Fuengirola and Arroyo all stop directly outside the property. Also there is a taxi rank adjoining the building (Malaga airport 20 minutes and approx. €30).

Coach excursions can be booked from a nearby office on the seafront and the coaches also stop directly outside the building. Destinations include: Granada, Seville, Cordoba, Gibraltar, Ronda and Nerja.

As such, if you tire of the beach, this is a good location to sightsee from without needing a car.

If you do arrive by car, there is lots of free on street parking around the building. Upon final payment I will send full driving directions including satnav co-ordinates.


Situated at the heart of the seafront in Benalmadena, Maite was formerly a hotel complex.
It now consists of 3 apartment blocks positioned around the edge of a large and secure garden area with 3 swimming pools ( with lifeguard during high season) and a children’s pool.

Being originally built in the 1970’s means that the dimensions of both the gardens, public areas and the individual rooms are of generous proportions.

The apartment itself was renovated throughout to exacting standards in Spring 2015 and has only been offered for rental since March 2016. Hence everything in the apartment is new.

As our home from home, all necessary amenities are provided for and care has been taken to ensure it has a “homely” and not a “rental” feel.

From it’s position at the heart of Benalmadena seafront it is easy to access the main attractions of the area including:
The famous Tivoli World amusement park, Selwo Delfinarium, Paloma Park, The Marina including the Sea Life Centre and the Torrequebrada Casino.
Going inland it is only a short bus/taxi ride to Benalmadena Pueblo (typical Andalucian village – known for many excellent restaurants),the Butterfly Park and the Bhuddist Stupa.

Everything was to the highest specification, very clean and very modern. Although it is on a main road and close to bars and restaurants, we were never bothered by noise inside the apartment. Some lovely bars and restaurants close by, so if we felt like being lazy, we did not need to go far for food and drinks. Close to supermarkets, and the bus stop is right outside apartment, great bus service if you want to go further afield.Response

Excellent Apartment

We had high expectations of this apartment based upon the pictures on the site and we weren't disappointed. It has everything you need and all fixtures, fittings and furnishings are of a quality rarely seen in a rental property. The balcony overlooks a terrific garden area with 3 good sized pools and a kiddies pool. All pools and garden areas were lovingly tended to each morning and there were 2 pool supervisors on duty each day. Across the road (albeit a busy one) is the beach with sunbeds and umbrellas to hire and a selection of bars/restaurants. Within 5 mins walk in all directions there were further bars and restaurants with some small shops and a fantastic Mercadona supermarket 600 mtrs away (with a rather splendid Charcuterie / cheese / wine shop and bar next to it). Paloma Park is 8 min walk away where we found the dimpled shade more comfortable than the sundrenched beach. The marina is 20 mins walk along a paved promenade (though this can easily be 2 or 3 hrs with a couple of refreshment stops) and Torremolinos the other side of the marina. Regular bus services stop within feet of the apartment heading just about everywhere within the local vicinity, including Malaga, Torremolinos, Fuengirola, Marbella, Mijas, Benalmadena Pueblo and Arroyo de la Miel where there is a main Train Station. The location is just great. I had a bit of an accident whilst there and damaged a shutter but fortunately we were able to deal with it amicably with the owner whom was helpful at all times. Brilliant Apartment, brilliant location

Brilliant apartment, brilliant location We stayed in this apartment for 8 days in December and had a wonderful holiday. The apartment is superb; everything brand new, high quality and tasteful. There is everything you need. We were also impressed with the cleanliness of the corridors, stairs and lifts in the building and with how well the grounds were maintained. All this together with an ideal location made it an ideal base for our break and the excellent transport network made it very easy to get about. We loved the charm of Benalmadena Pueblo and Mijas and the vitality of Arroyo which we made our way up to several times. Malaga city was well beyond our expectations, a wonderful place, the highlight for us being the nativity display in the cathedral. We would certainly recommend this accommodation. My Response We bought this property because of it's excellent location and renovated it to what some described as "too good for rental". We disagreed knowing other people would appreciate an apartment renovated to high standards, in a good central location. To date many clients have said how much they enjoyed it, and I'm glad you found it to your liking. Additionally, I'm glad you noticed the public areas and gardens which, as you say, are clean and maintained to high standards. We are not complacent. We are constantly looking for ways to improve.
