Attractive villa surrounded by beautiful private Mediterranean garden and sun terraces. Villa is south facing, with views overlooking the harbour. Both garden and villa are well maintained, with gardener, pool maintenance, and cleaner.

Villa has been recently refurbished to a high standard, with air conditioning throughout. Ground floor contains sitting room, open plan kitchen/dining area, two twin bedrooms sharing one bathroom, and one twin bedroom with en-suite bathroom. All ground-floor bedrooms have direct access to the pool area, with shutters,and mosquito nets on windows, and fitted wardrobes. On the second floor is the luxurious master bedroom with en-suite bathroom, large private terrace with safety glass and views overlooking the pool and harbour. There is also a separate study area with a desk and a sea view. Outside, there are many terraced areas. There is a barbecue area and adjacent covered veranda overlooking the pool. There is also a pagoda with a table and bench seating which catches the sun at all times of the day and has a view down to the harbour. The property is suitable for all ages as mainly on one level and is easily accessible. All interior and exterior steps have a handrail.

An attractive, totally enclosed garden which is well stocked with flowering shrubs and well maintained. Extensive terrace surrounding the pool with large sitting area with bench seating and tables. Covered veranda also has tables and seating for 8. Adjacent barbecue area with gas weber barbecue. A further sitting area can be found on the balcony upstairs. Both the balcony and veranda have electrically operated blinds. There is also an outside shower.
The villa has off-road parking available for one car, and further cars can be parked on the road outside.

Separate utility with washing machine, electric iron and ironing board.

Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service:
Towels and bedlinen provided but no swimming towels. The property is cleaned before and after each rental and beds are changed. Additional cleaning is available during your stay upon request.

Location Information: Cala Llonga is an exclusive development overlooking the attractive harbour area of Mahon. A fifteen minute scenic drive along the harbour takes you to Mahon – a historic port, and capital of Menorca, with many shops, bars and restaurants. A beautiful unspoilt sandy beach in the quiet hamlet of Mesquida, is only five minutes by car and a variety of other beaches are also nearby. The area is very good for walking and there are numerous well marked footpaths. There is a small, well-stocked supermarket within walking distance of the villa. Comfortable and spacious house

Very comfortable and spacious house in excellent location
We stayed here as a family of five. The house is very spacious and has all comforts. The location is very good, even though in a neighborhood with many houses it feels private and tranquil. The garden and pool are very well maintained. The terrasses (3 in total) are definitely an asset. The ride to Mahon is 10 minutes and beaches and restaurants are close by. We enjoyed our stay here very much!

Lovely villa in perfect spot

The villa was excellent with lovely views over Mahon harbour and just 10 mins by car to the port and the nearest beach. The rooms were spacious, especially the superb master bedroom with balcony, while the beds were all of a high quality and the kitchen had everything necessary. The pool and numerous sunbeds were fine and though there is no TV, which might impact on some, it wasn't a concern for us as the Wi-Fi was perfectly adequate. Summing up, a high-end property in a superb quiet spot which is perfect for families.

Great place to relax

The property is on a development a few miles outside of Mahon. It's extremely well done, with a whole range of individual houses such as the one we stayed in. It's therefore pretty quiet without being remote. There isn't therefore a range of cafes and restaurants in the vicinity. We stayed during the first week of August and it was close to 37 degrees most of our stay, which prevented walking anywhere. So, mostly we shopped in Mahon and a car was essential. The little shop was well-stocked with things you might miss from Britain (Marmite or Cheddar, say), but was very limited otherwise. The property itself is very well kept, and clean. The pool was a little small for all five of us. There are lovely views of the harbour and it was great to sit out of an evening to look out this from a small shaded space provided. But, be warned (!), flies were biting in the early evening - so we retreated indoors from the first night on. I'm pointing out some of the issues, but these didn't detract much from the overall quality of the place itself. It was indeed very relaxing and comfortable. The house has all we required and to a very high standard, and in a quiet location.

Perfectly relaxing - great setting

Two families of 4 stayed recently. Villa is about 15mins drive from Mahon; and less than 5 mins from Cala Llonga centre. Villa itself is perfect for two families - plenty of space and great pool. Outdoor space is brilliant - a covered area overlooks the harbour - we ate BBQ here Most nights (Weber gas BBQ!). All amenities you'd expect and well stocked kitchen with pots and pans etc. Air con in every room. Very well maintained and clean. 15min walk from Cala Llonga hotel and happy hour! Would we go back - absolutely!

Ideal family holiday home in perfect location

We booked C'an Cortaderia for our family holiday, including a new baby and toddler. It was in a perfect location as only a 15 minute drive from Mahon airport and also easy drive to many fantastic beaches. The villa was so well equipped - home from home. The kitchen in particular had every piece of kitchen equipment you could want. The property was extremely clean and well maintained and the guest information was very comprehensive and gave v. accurate reviews of beaches/bars etc. The raised pergola in the garden was a favourite spot to find shade, a cool breeze and you could sit for hours watching the boats sail in and out of the harbour. We loved being so near to Mahon Port, a lovely place for daytime shopping, lovely old buildings and evening meals/bars. We would highly recommend this property and will definitely be returning!

Charming Villa in Cala Llonga

This is an attractive villa in private grounds which is perfect for family's or couple's who want to relax. The outside pool and garden areas are ideal for sunbathing with a good sized pool and great views out towards the entrance to Mahon harbour and the Mediterranean. Inside the villa is a charming and typical family holiday home with modern bathrooms and facilities. The first floor master bedroom is particularly attractive with great views over the Cala Llonga peninsula and out towards the sea. Cala Llonga is a quiet residential area a few miles to the north of Mahon. Car hire is recommended but taxi's to Mahon are easy to arrange and the 5 minute journey costs around €15. The beautiful beach at Mesquida is a 5 minute drive from Cala Llonga but there are lots of small private coves for swimming and snorkelling around this location. We highly recommended Cap Roig restaurant which is less than 5 minutes drive from the villa on the drive out to Mesquida. Once past the functional 80's exterior the interior is lovely with amazing views over the north east coast of Minorca and possibly the best sea food on the island. The owners, Diana and Peter, were lovely to deal with. Clear and precise access instructions were provided and we had a welcome bottle of Cava awaiting us on arrival - a nice touch. This is charming 4 star accommodation and we would be delighted to return.

Lovely villa very private garden stunning views

It was our first trip to Menorca and what a great introduction to the island when we stayed at this beautiful villa. We didnt venture out as much as intended, as this little haven was so relaxing that it was hard to leave. The garden is very pretty with fragrant flowers amazing views and a pool to cool off in. We loved sitting in the raised seating area and watching the ferry to Barcelona gracefully glide past the surrounding buildings sounding its horn through the channel and into the Med. I have never seen so many boats as we did in Menorca with many coves only accessible from the water and the port area in Mahon was definitely the place to admire luxury boats and imagine who was on board! The villa is very well equipped for self-catering which is very important to us and the bathrooms and showers were excellent. My daughter loved having her own bathroom! The master bedroom is fabulous, spacious and with an amazing view and balcony. The villa and pool were very clean and obviously well managed. We tend to be very fussy when we choose a villa because we have a 19 year old autistic son and have to make sure he is safe and the residence is very private so the rest of the family can relax and also has the facilities to allow us to cater as he is on a special diet. The Bini Preu supermarket in Mahon was well stocked and had a great meat counter. We also loved eating in the port area of Mahon and Cales Mont in Es Castel. But most of all we loved to sit on the veranda of the villa eating and relaxing in a lovely cooling breeze whilst admiring the beautiful garden and watching our children swim. We have stayed in many villas but we have to say that Peter and Diana's lovely Menorcan home is one of our favourites and we hope to return.

A complete home from home villa in a quiet location! From start to finish the owners were extremely helpful and accommodating. The villa has everything you would need and more for a relaxing family holiday. The kitchen has all the mod cons and more than enough equipment to cater for large family cooking etc. All bedrooms are immaculate, plenty of storage, air con and comfortable beds. The master suite is extremely spacious and a real feature of the property. All bathrooms are decorated to a high spec with very powerful showers! The living areas are again clean and comfortable and ideal for family living. Outside; pool is kept very clean and surrounding areas contain plenty of sunbeds and seating areas for dining outside. BBQ was clean and in an ideal spot. All windows have mosquito nets and shutters which come in handy on warm nights etc!Plenty of parking at the front of the villa too! A car is vital to get to the shops and local beach. All in all i can't think of any bad points, we would happily stay here again and i would happily recommend this property to any family. Hope to stay again sometime!

Cala Llonga Villa

We had a lovely week at the villa. It was very much as described. Quiet location, had all mod cons needed, great master bedroom. The bedrooms and bathrooms were spacious but think indoor dining area would not fit 8. Car hire essential, about 10 mins to Mahon port area. Recommend Mercado supermarket in Mahon. Recommend Son Parc beach for young kids as calm,shallow bay.

Perfect Base

It was great to stay in a house that was exactly as it was described. On a practical level the kitchen was well equipped to cater for large families. There is nothing worse than renting somewhere with the minimum number of plates, cutlery etc. The upstairs master suite enabled the 'grown ups' to escape the madness from time to time. The pool area was pretty with plenty of sun beds and the awnings provided much needed shade for the sun sensitive. Cala Llonga is a much more residential area and did not feel like a resort, which I prefer. The house itself is obviously a much loved family home and so we felt much less like tourists. I loved being so close to Mahon so we could nip in for some retail therapy and enjoy the great bars and resturants. This would also be an ideal location for an off season visit, as it was so well equipped and just a short 15 min drive to the amenities in Mahon. The family had provided some personal recommendations for eating out and those were fabulous especially the tapas bar on the harbour. The nearby beach was great. A lot less crowded than others we had been to and very pretty. Although the cafe and shop were a bit far there was a van selling ice creams and drinks which was really handy. The management company were friendly and helpful, everywhere was clean and fresh on our arrival. I even enjoyed my twice weekly chats with the pool cleaners! This was our third visit to Menorca and we will definitely come back to this house. In fact I had to be forcibly removed! Fabulous view of the Med, beautiful sunshine, air-conditioning and plenty of room in the fridge for Gin, what's not to love?!
