Welcome to our gorgeous holiday home in the Eastern Algarve hills above Santa Catarina. For the month of July the 2nd bedroom unit is available, for the months of August and September both units of 2 bed and 3 bed will be available separately with shared use of pool or complete as a 5 bed unit with sole use of pool.

Our home is a traditional Portuguese house, split into 2 adjoining halves. South facing, we enjoy great sun exposure all day long with the added benefit of stunning sunrises and sunsets. The larger house has 3 ensuite bedrooms and sleeps six comfortably, with a full equipped kitchen, lounge and separate dining area with multiple outdoor patios and entertainment areas. The other half is slightly smaller with 2 ensuite bedrooms, lounge, kitchen and diner with more patio areas. There is a lovely 8mx4 shared pool which benefits from daylong sunlight. We offer the flexibility to rent either unit or both, large families can enjoy time together whilst still enjoying privacy if required. The garden has many al fresco dining areas and spots to enjoy the views, with a multitude of trees such as clementine, oranges, figs, almonds, olives and carobs. A purpose built boules area nestles next door to the lazy hammock slung between 2 trees. Both houses have gas barbecues perfect for outdoor meals.

We are surrounded by miles of rolling hills offering endless opportunities for walking and cycling. You’ll love the peace and tranquillity, the opportunity to take time out to recharge and refresh. Our investment in 4G broadband and wifi boosters allows you to stay connected in most areas of the property should you choose. Situated just 40 minutes from Faro airport and 10 minutes above Santa Catarina village you’ll need a car to maximise your stay. Our nearest restaurant is 3 km away, a delightful traditional Portuguese mountain special. Santa Catarina offers several choices of restaurants but the larger towns of Tavira, Sao Bras and Olhao are all within 25 minutes drive as are the wonderful beaches and islands of the Ria Formosa. The Algarve is renowned for it’s golf courses and 3000 hours of sunshine per year.
We can recommend lots of very good restaurants in the surrounding areas.Well behaved pets are welcome subject to prior approval.

Our home is available to rent between April and October each year. For the months April/May and October through December you may rent either the 2 bedroom or 3 bed units. For the months of June -September the property is only available as a 5 bedroom option because of the shared pool. For prices, availability and terms and conditions please do get in touch.

Had a wonderful stay here in January - sun was shining every day. The villa is lovey and cosy with great outdoor space. Location is nice and peaceful up in the hills and only a short drive from towns and gorgeous beaches - will definitely be back!
