We would like our guests to be assured that following the Covid-19 Pandemic we have implemented changes to correspond with guidelines issued by the Portuguese authorities as follows;
Additional cleaning required
You will be given a day and time that mid-stay/end of week cleaning will take place and you will need to vacate the property (2-2.5 hours mid-stay clean, 4-4.5 hours end of a week clean), in order for this to take place (if you do not adhere to this requirement, the clean, towel/linen change will not take place).
Specific antibacterial cleaning products will be used.
Removal of some items to avoid contamination e.g. books, unfortunately this will include inflatables, buckets and spades, beach toys etc which we have previously made available for our guests during their stay.
Unfortunately we will only be able to offer limited flexibility regarding access and departure times, we will follow our 4pm access and 10am departure closely to ensure there is a minimum gap of 12 hours between guests leaving and arriving (we are aiming for a gap of 24 hours will apply in most cases).
There will be antibacterial hand-wash provided and hand sanitiser.
Casa Luna is located in a non-complex, quiet cul-de-sac approximately 8 minutes walk to the village or beach, therefore offering the best of both worlds. Situated in the pretty, unspoilt fishing village of Ferragudo and within easy reach of larger towns e.g. Approx 10 minutes by car to Portimao, a taxi would cost around 8 euros, Carvoeiro around 15/20 minutes by car and a taxi is around 10 euros.
Casa Luna offers a comfortable home from home environment, superbly equipped including beach towels, docking station to listen to your favourite tunes, CD player/radio, books, free WIFI and even inflatables for the pool to make your holiday hassle free and easy.
There is outdoor furniture and a barbecue at the back of the house next to the pool where you can enjoy alfresco meals and drinks, however you can also enjoy the late afternoon and evening sun on the beautiful new roof terrace (build Autumn 2019) at the front of the house as there is furniture there too.
An ideal holiday venue for couples and families of all ages, as it offers a quiet, superbly located base from which to explore, whilst being within easy reach of beaches, fabulous restaurants and nightlife.
The property is spacious, light and open plan, the lounge/dining area has two sets of patio doors leading out to the pool/terrace area.
The lounge area is relaxing with comfortable seating and TV.
The dining area offers dining table and seating for 6 people.
The kitchen is equipped with - Oven, hob, fridge-freezer, dishwasher, washing machine, microwave, electric juicer and coffee machine together with all the items you may require for preparing meals if you choose to do so, during your stay.
Bedrooms are spacious and are similar in size.
Both have twin beds, plenty of wardrobe and drawer space and a hairdryer.
One has patio door leading to a balcony and the other has patio door with railings but no balcony, both overlook the pool.
Maximum occupancy is 4 adults/children (an additional 2 children under 10 years can also be accommodated who would sleep in Z beds).
The main bathroom is large and spacious, it is located upstairs, opposite the bedrooms and has bath with shower over, sink with vanity unit, separate shower cubicle, toilet and bidet.
There is also a shower room downstairs, with sink/vanity unit and toilet.
There are two balconies, one is at the front of the house off the landing, which leads to a beautiful roof terrace, perfect to capture the early evening sun.
The other is at the rear of the house off one of the bedrooms and has fantastic views.
There is a private, enclosed sun terrace around the pool at the back of the house.
Golf - La Pinta and Gramacho are within 2 miles of the house, these are top quality championship golf courses, both have a David Leadbetter golf academy on site. The area however has a host of other golfing options within a 30 minute drive.
The house has air conditioning which can also be used to heat if required.
The floor is all tiled and the staircase is marble to help keep the house cool.
The outside area is private and secure, however children should be encouraged not to climb on the railings on the terraces or balconies, we would request that children are supervised at all times.
There are security shutters provided for added security and comfort, an alarm system and safe for guests use.
The total size of the property inside is 125sq.m inside (168sq.m including outside).
The pool is private and is approximately 5 metres x 3.5 metres and has a maximum depth of around 1.5 metres, it is ideal for cooling off on a hot day and for children to splash around in, there are steps down into it to make it more accessible.
It is cleaned regularly and all chemicals etc are managed by our pool maintenance service, once or twice a week dependent on season to ensure the pool remains clean and enjoyable - please note the pool is not heated.
There is a storage area under the stairs which houses the iron and ironing board, dust pan and brush, beach chairs and umbrella. This area can also be used to store suitcases and bags etc.
There will be a linen change and clean during your stay (for stays of 7 nights or more), a full clean and linen change will take place at the end of each full week.

There are plenty of plastic containers for you to take snacks etc out with you.
