This villa is so impressive and was ideal for us - two families with children between 8 & 12. We all loved it and agreed it’s the best we’ve stayed at. We were immediately impressed when we arrived - by the beautiful house and gardens and the friendly and professional welcome from the property manager. Everything in the house and outside is of an incredibly high standard - lovely furniture by the pool and inside, very comfortable beds, impeccably clean, very well stocked kitchen. The pool is a great size and having a tennis court on site was amazing - both were in constant use by various members of the group. The outside space works perfectly with plenty of spaces to relax. The location is really peaceful but with easy access to Lagos. Communication by the owners and property manager was excellent. It made for a perfect holiday - the experience at Casa Zimbreira couldn’t have been better.
Zimbreira is simply the best! You know it’s a special place as soon as you enter. Our family and as of this year, friends too have so enjoyed staying at the Villa. We first came here 13 years ago, and thought it was great then but have returned on a number of occasions since and each time it has just got better and better. The owners Jem and Nicky have created a beautifully stylish and tasteful home but one which remains homely and comfy. The facilities are really great whether it’s in the kitchen with every utensil you could need to rustle up a meal; or using the new gas BBQ and Pizza oven ; playing board games available for young and old : for the energetic amongst us playing tennis and table tennis; or just listening to music and watching TV it’s all there to hand. We spent most of our waking hours outside making full use of the large swimming pool and relaxing in one of the numerous terraces plus eating/ drinking alfresco at the large table on the raised terrace above the pool, illuminating it in the evening making a wonderful atmosphere. If you can tear yourself away from the villa Lagos is just a short car or taxi journey away and well worth a visit.
The villa was beautiful with a great pool and outside space for the family. The interior was fantastic with so much room for us all. The grounds and pool were maintained well and the house was super clean. I can’t recommend the villa enough and the host Jem was really helpful leading up to the arrival. We had the perfect family holiday!
