Serra Verde : This lovely property is set in a very quiet street off the road from
Sintra and very close to coastal beaches.
It is just about 10Min drive from the old part of Sintra (included in
Unesco's World Heritage) with its Palaces, Toy Museum and lovely old
winding streets.

It is 15Min from the train station which makes it really easy to go to
Lisbon (45 KM and well worth a visit) without having to use your car.
The nearest beaches are a mere 10KM away and a paradise for surfers. If
you are looking for calmer waters as well as the excitment of nightlife,
then the Estoril/Cascais coast is just 25KM away.
For the keen golfers there is a choice of 4 courses within 30KM.
It is an easy walk to nearby simple restaurants and shops.
For more sofisticated shopping, restaurants and bars there is Sintra,
Praia das Maçãs, etc.

It is surrounded by a lovely garden, the owner being a very keen
gardener, and if you enjoy al-fresco meals there is no need for a parasol as there is
a huge pine tree that naturally provides all the shade you may need.
There is also a lovely balcony with a built-in barbecue.
The house is very light throughout and consists of a sitting/dining room
with a lovely fireplace, very pleasant on cooler evenings (wood provided
by the owner). There is a TV CABLE & WI-FI AVAILABLE.
1 full bathroom and a cloakroom. The kitchen new and well
equipped.

Tram Ride
Much more than a means of transport, the tram is a bit of Sintra´s history.
Sintra´s tram was 100 years old on 31st March 2004. On 10th July of its inaugural year, its route was extended to Praia das Maçãs. Later, it got to Azenhas do Mar.
The initial aim of this tram was to grant social benefits, and have an important role in the development and progress of the villages it served.
