Trullo Patrizia is a recently renovated trullo, set on a hill in olive groves a short distance from Alberobello. The trullo is approached from a quiet lane and is tucked away behind stone walls and gates. The surrounding patios are large, perfect for entertaining and dining. The beautiful gardens are full of local plants and bushes and can be lit at night for atmosphere. The large and completely private pool is set a short distance from the trullo. Large umbrellas are provided for shade on the spacious patio around the pool, along with loungers and cushions for comfort. The surrounding 5 acres of olive groves and fruit trees are available to walk in, kept tidy and presented as in the local tradition. The nearest properties are several hundred metres away and the property is not overlooked. There is a network of lanes for pleasant walks or cycling.
You can't beat a stay at Trullo Patrizia if you're looking for a quiet country retreat - all the comforts of home in a glorious setting and a stunning conversion of a traditional building. All the local towns are charming - we particularly recommend the restaurant Gli Ulivi in alberobello. Alan & Carole and their local rep Donatella couldn't have been more helpful and welcoming. You'll love it!
Trullo Patrizia - a real gem!

We had the pleasure of staying at this wonderful trullo for a week. It is restored in a fantastic way, and we really loved the garden with pool, flowers and fruit trees. It was an interesting road leading to the trullo, and we were really secluded here. Alberobello is like a fairytale town, although a bit touristy. The trullo is not far from sights like Fasano Zoo and the Caves.
What a Gorgeous Place!

What a gorgeous place. The setting of the property is quiet and private, surrounded by olive orchards and fruit trees, the views over the countryside are lovely and far reaching, the pool was large, great fun and very clean (especially loved were the lilos which my neices - and we adults - enjoyed), the fruit trees when we visited were groaning under the figs which we ate everyday for breakfast, and the almonds kept dropping, reminding us to eat them. The interior of the house is very well-equipped, was well-cleaned and the mosquito repellents we were most grateful for. We had a little trouble finding the house when we arrived, but that was part of the fun! We loved Trullo Patrizia, and thank you Gavin and Rossella for popping by and sharing your insights on the area. There was way too much to see for us only staying for a week so we hope to return in the future. Do not miss the caves and the local weekly market(s) especially the one in Locorotondo which has an abundance of fantastic food.
The Trullo is Amazing!

We are a family of 4 (all adults), who stayed in Trullo Patrizia for 9 nights.
The trullo is amazing. So is the setting and the surroundings.
We stayed there in a very warm period, so we fully enjoyed the beautiful pool, which is suitable for both adults and children - and is very, very clean.
The location is perfect for exploring the many beautiful towns. All om them are reachable within an hour - so are the lovely beaches.
We will definately recommend Trullo Patrizia - and hopefully we will be back. It was our first visit to Puglia after having explored Italy a few times. This part of Italy is so different compared with the rest.
All the best To Alan and Carol (the owners) and the couple looking after the property (Rosella and Gavin).
