Casa Amelia is perfectly located in Addaia between the village with its Bars and Restaurants and the Marina, both only some few minutes stroll away in either direction. The large very private pool is a great favourite with our guests. There is also gated off-road parking for two cars at the front. Casa Amelia is a Large New Modern 4 bed-roomed (for 8 people) Family Villa fitted out to a high specification. The villa has fibre Internet and Air Conditioning throughout. The accommodation is laid out over two floors. The upper floor (street level) is the main living area consisting of a bright modern kitchen, a utility room and a large light lounge/dining room leading directly onto a large open balcony terrace giving a fabulous sky view over the adjoining valley carpeted with dwarf pine trees and Sea view.
This spacious lounge terrace balcony and its tranquil views provide a superb open-air living area for the family to enjoy and dine alfresco. The lounge balcony is equipped with a large teak table seating 8, in addition to external sofa chairs and a BBQ.
The lower floor contains the bedroom area with 4 double bedrooms, and is laid out with two Master Bedroom Suites at each end of the villa separated by the two centre double twin bedrooms thus providing great adult privacy (so perfect for two families). The two Master Bedroom suites both have a king size double and both have their own on-suites and the 2 other centrally located twin bedrooms are both serviced with a large family bathroom and walk-in-shower room.
All four bedrooms have French doors leading onto a large bedroom terrace balcony overlooking the swimming pool and sun lounging surround. The bedroom terrace balcony itself is furnished with sofa chairs and coffee tables so you can get up in the morning, sit and shade from the warm rising sun and contemplate the coming of another lovely day. The 33ft long pool with its 6ft-6ins deep end and steps at the shallow end provides great fun for the family, it is mostly surrounded by a sun lounging and sitting terrace and is enclosed and screened off by a high wall, garden hedging and dwarf pine trees, which offers one a great sense of privacy and tranquil calm, time just fly’s by.
With the villas size and three separate terraces, it makes it an ideal property for two families’ to share, for when a little privacy and quiet time is needed it can easily be found.
The pool and bedroom terraces have small child gates and also the internal staircase can be fitted with temporary toddler type gates. But be warned children can be very very clever so must be watched at all times, particularly near the pool. A baby cot and highchair is available if required.
Please note: In High season our normal changeover day is normally a Saturday, so we work on a 7 day minimum stay, typically Saturday a to Saturday basis. But in the low season we can be more flexible. Typically during May, September and October its 7 days minimum stay but you can arrive and leave on any day of the week. Please ask if you have a special request or need need more clarity.
We are about 25 min's from the airport and main town/capital Mahon, there is a bus service in the summer and taxis are available locally. If you have any questions or would like to make a booking please contact us via Simply Owners and we will get back to you and get things rolling.
Local Port Addaia Information:- Port Addaia with its small marina is a fabulous little upmarket village location close but not too close to the local resort of Arenal Den Castell and you will find villa Amelia very conveniently positioned for the village shops, restaurants and Marina.
Although a car is great to see the island there is no need to drive in Addaia as we have up to four local bars/restaurants and a well-stocked mini supermarket few minutes (2 - 6 min's) stroll away and the lovely Marina bar/restaurant "La Cantina" about a 7 min's walk away. In the summer there buses into Mahon the islands capital about 25 min’s away and taxis can be booked locally.
We also have the near-by Arenal Den Castell resort with its many bars/restaurants and its beautiful natural horseshoe shaped beach (about a mile away, see photo in Home-Away website link)
There is also the village of Na Macaret about a mile away with its bars and a small narrow beach with shallow water, great for small children to sit/play in the water.
There is also another centre called Coves Noves with a larger supermarket and 4 or 5 bar/restaurants etc about a half a mile away and also a Super Aqua-Water-Park.
You will find that Port Addaia is a very peaceful and safe location with no through traffic and comprises mostly of privately owned villas.

Spacious modern accommodation with great pool
5/5 Stayed Aug 2018
We stayed at Villa Amelia in Aug 2018. We were a party of two families with children aged between 9-1 and this villa was the perfect layout for us. Both families were able to occupy either end of the villa giving us our own space. We loved how the balcony’s all joined together. One worry we had was whether the pool was going to be big enough. We needn’t have worried, the pool was fantastic, big enough for all 8 of us, with ample space around. The villa was spotlessly clean and furnished nice. The living area was lovely and spacious, and the kitchen was very well equipped. There were lockable gates on all stairways helping us to relax with a toddler on board. All beds were comfortable and bathrooms were clean. We would defiantly recommend Villa Amelia to any families or groups of friends. We hired a car too so we were able to visit a lot of this beautiful island.

The whole process of booking the villa was very professional and easy and the lovely lady Penny who met us at the villa went beyond the call of duty! Overall, I would totally recommend this villa.

We have just had a fantastic stay at Villa Amelia. There were 7 of us (2 families) and there was plenty of room for everyone to have their space. The house is within very easy walking distance to restaurants and a well stocked small supermarket and Addaia is a beautiful small community.
Penny the local agent was brilliant - overall we had a super

Everything was there that you could possibly want.
The boys loved the pool and the fact that they could walk to the shop, which was about 2 minutes away.
The freshly baked bread, croissants were a great hit.
A short drive from lovely villages.
Kayaking at Es Grau was fabulous.
Lots of fabulous places to eat close by or a short drive away.

lesley p.Lytham. Lancashire. United Kingdom.
Returned home on 29/07/17. So impressed with the area and Menorca itself that we've already booked to return to Port Addaia next year. The villa is gorgeous, couldn't ask for more! It is immaculate, clean & well maintained. The owners provided an excellent service and the lady who met us at the property on both our arrival and departure was lovely. All in all a fabulous vacation. Thank you xxx

We stayed at this Villa for the 5th time in just over 2 years and have always thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.
The Villa is very well appointed with excellent facilities with views across the valley and sea beyond. A truly fabulous location. The owners Tony and Sylvia live close by and do not hesitate to provide help and advice about local facilities.
For anyone seeking a relatively quiet holiday in excellent surrounding this is the place to visit and the more lively tourist areas are a short bus ride away.
A wonderful holiday at Villa Amelia
By William on 13-Oct-2015
Villa Amelia was everything that one would expect from a holiday home - and much, much more. It was indeed a home from home with lots of space, beautifully furnished and everything that we needed. Just right for us! It was the ideal place to spend the 10 days that we had, relaxing on the two verandahs or by the poolside - perfect too for breakfast, lunch or dinner outdoors.
From our initial inquiry into the possibilities of hiring the villa, the whole booking procedure was handled very professionally by owners, Tony and Sylvia and every query was answered fully and promptly.
All went smoothly from our reception into the villa by Mary, who was a mine of information about the area and helpfulness personified. She was always on hand for anything we needed or wanted to know. The house was spotlessly clean and even though it was coming to the end of the season, perfectly presented and maintained.
The location was perfect for our needs - a small, quiet and relaxing harbour area with three very good bars/ restaurants and shop within a short walking distance. The Corner Bar,about two minutes walk from the villa, was particularly good for excellent tapas. If you didn`t have a car there was a bus service to the towns of Mahon, Fornells or the beach at Arenal. Maccaret`s small beach was also a 25 min walk away.
The true test of the quality of a holiday villa would be whether one would recommend it to friends or return oneself. The answer to that would be a resounding YES!

Villa Amelia is a lovely villa which easily accommodated our party of 4 adults and 4 children. There is ample space inside and out and we all enjoyed the beautiful view from the balcony. The villa was spotless and the air conditioning fantastic on very hot days.
Port Addaia is quiet and very pretty and we loved the port. We hired kayaks from here and explored the local waters. The well stocked super market is on the door step as are 3 good restaurants. We particularly enjoyed the tapas restaurant.
Son Parc was our favourite beach and very easy to get to but we also explored off the beaten track to Cala Pregonda which was a bit of a treck but absolutely beautiful.
We visited Mahon and Cuitadella, both worth a trip, and Fornells which has plenty of restaurants to choose from.
All in all a great place for a family holiday.

Great Villa Great Location
By Martin on 20-Jul-2015
What a lovely villa and lovely little town. The villa is top quality with air on throughout including all mod cons and your home from home requirements. We took an infant and everything was made available from cot, bedding to a blender allowing you to make up your own baby food. The town itself is about 15-20 mins from airport which is perfect commute distance. In the town there are 3 restaurants/bars and a small but ample minimart. this is not a place for those after late nights, music and dancing. But for most families and those preferring something quieter it's an idelic place. There are some trails for those that fancy a walk in to surrounding areas. fooe those wishing to go exploring there is a bus stop, but it's prob easier and best to hire a car. The lesson learnt for next time would be to make the effort and go to one of the larger supermarkets, located near airport. Whilst the local minimart is well stocked, you will pay more for the conscience, and those that wish to BBQ, would benefit from better choice of meats in a bigger chain. Overall we loved the villa and the town. We will prob be back again next year ;-)

Ideal Family Accommodation
By Dianne on 12-Jun-2015
Villa Amelia certainly lived up to all our expectations providing spacious and comfortable living accommodation as well as excellent facilities to enjoy the ideal family holiday. Set in Addaya which we still consider to be the best location on the island and only a few minutes from the local supermarket and restaurants it is ideally located for all amenities. We had a very warm welcome from the local agent ( Mary ) who was most helpful and the booking process with the owners was very reassuring and professional. We had a great holiday and found the villa most suitable for all three generations. We would certainly recommend this villa to any prospective clients seeking the ideal family holiday.

A beautiful villa , well laid out with everything you could need. We had a wonderful week and came home very relaxed having enjoyed a peaceful time in Northern Menorca. The three local restaurants are within a few minutes walk of the villa and were all good quality especially El Castilla whose staff always had a smile. The local supermarket was well stocked and again only a few minutes walk away. If you book this place you will not be disappointed

The Villa is a short taxi ride from the airport and the accommodation is top quality and well laid out. The property is within a short walk from local restaurants and the supermarket.
Don't expect nightclub's on your doorstep here although entertainment is not too far away.

One of the best villa's i have had the pleasure to stay in, Villa Amelia is well suited for all the family, well placed, short 2min walk to a couple of good restaurants, and a very well stocked supermarket that wasn't that bad on price either, and a 5 min walk down to the port, inside the villa is well maintained clean an tidy and well presented with comfortable beds to have a siesta when it gets to hot, stuning views out across the valley down to the port. one more thing, a piece of cake to find if you hire a car from the airport, excellent comunication with the owners Tony & Sylvia only to happy to help in any way, thanks for a great holiday.
