Description

NO CHILDREN UNDER THE AGE OF 14 YEARS ARE ALLOWED TO STAY AT THIS VILLA

Conveniently located in the Costa Papagayo area of Playa Blanca this extremely spacious and very private villa has beautiful mountain views. A 15/20 minute walk will take you into the centre of Playa Blanca, where you will find numerous cafes, restaurants, supermarkets etc , or to the popular Playa Dorado beach and extensive seafront promenade. A car is therefore not essential to enjoy all the amenities the area has to offer.

Tastefully decorated throughout this very comfortable villa comprises two bedrooms, two bathrooms, two lounges, kitchen with utility room, large garden complete with private heated swimming pool and luxury hot tub.

There is a double bedroom with a king sized bed and an en-suite consisting of a bath with shower over, double sink and toilet. The second bedroom has twin beds. Both bedrooms have fans and have ample wardrobe storage. A seperate family bathroom has a shower, washbasin and toilet.

The well equipped kitchen has an oven/hob, microwave, dishwasher and fridge freezer. Indeed everything you could need should you chose to dine in. The utility room just off the kitchen has a washing machine, iron and ironing board for your convenience.

The main lounge has two comfortable sofas in which to relax and enjoy the large flat screen TV with DVD and SKY family package (this does not include BBC & ITV channels).

There is also an I-pod docking station together with a selection of DVDs and books to suit most tastes. The dining area which is adjacent to the kitchen has a stone wall feature, with skylight above, which fits in with the beautiful tiled floor.

The exceptionally spacious second lounge is light and airy with floor to ceiling windows on two sides affording lovely views of the mature gardens, swimming pool area and dramatic mountains beyond. Two sets of patio doors open out onto the the outside space which affords total privacy with its large garden set within high walls. Perfect for total relaxation.

In addition to the heated swimming pool, hot tub and pool shower there is an outdoor settee for relaxing, four comfortable loungers with all weather padded cushions, parasols, a dining table and chairs together with a large stone Canarian BBQ.

The private pool, which has a cover, is electrically heated and is salt chlorinated which is better for your skin. The pool is approximately 7.5m x 3.5m in dimension, ranging from 1m to 1.7m in depth, and you enter via Roman steps.

All linen and hand/bath/tea towels are provided for your convenience but you will need to bring your own beach/pool towels.

There is also a safe, for your peace of mind, and a hair dryer at the Villa.

A cot and high chair are also available on request.

WiFi is also available at no extra charge.

29th October to 8th November 2019 - I just wanted to let you know that we had a great stay in Villa Sonny! The Villa was very well equipped and clean. The outdoor Terrace incl. Pool and Hot Tub was really great! We will be back!

12t to 19th December 2019 - Well, having booked Villa Sonny almost a year in advance, we were not disappointed. It is the most well equipped and comfortable villa we had stayed in. The little touches make all the difference. The hot tub - well - that is top of the list for any villa in the future! Will not recommend restaurants as with most things it is individual choice, they are all good and as we use this time of year as a total relax from our busy lives, and a pre-Christmas de-stress, we tend to cook and eat in, brilliant facilities! The villa is spotlessly clean, and very well maintained a credit to the Owners and the Team. We will def be back to Villa Sonny, now back home to the Christmas madness!!

We really had a great week in Playa Blanca and enjoyed our stay at the Villa very much. We like to travel and get away 3 or 4 times a year to difference places but Playa Blanca is always one that we like to return too. This was our 3rd stay at the Villa and was pleased to see that the owners have put a curtain across the bath to stop the water running down the side and onto the bathroom floor. I did mention this as a comment previously after our last visit and was pleased that it had been noted. Please pass on our thanks and appreciation to the owners for the bottle of prosecco & card that was left for us to celebrate New Year Eve, it was a very nice gesture on their behalf. We will in our retirement (not for a few years yet!!) look to spend a month or two in the winter months at Playa Blanca and renting a property like Villa Sonny would be perfect but in the meantime I am sure we will be back again for our week in the sun.
