Rustic and much-loved Villa Christine was the perfect place for our first foreign holiday post Covid Lockdowns. There were five adults of varying ages in our group and we all loved the villa. All the rooms were homely, comfortable and clean. The kitchen was the most well equipped kitchen I have ever been in. Christine’s home made treats, left on the first day of our holiday, were hugely appreciated. The three bathrooms were essential for our group. We made good use of the pool table, table tennis and outdoor kitchen containing pizza oven, barbecue and sink. However, it was the swimming pool, terraces, outdoor seating areas, gardens and incomparable views that really provided the wow factor and we spent nearly all of our time at the villa making full use of these, only using the interior rooms to sleep. The arrangement of parasols/shades and external blinds meant that these areas were eminently usable in any type of weather. The villa is situated in a beautiful residential area, within easy walking distance of at least two pebble beaches and one sandy beach. We used the sandy beach each day for swimming in the sea but returned to the villa for sunbathing . The house cleaner did a refresher clean each day and 2 full cleans each week. The pool cleaner/maintenance man came every day. Christine was amiable and easy to deal with and always responded promptly to any of our queries via text and email. We met her on the first day in Porto Cheli and she guided us to the villa and explained everything we might need to know. We would love to visit Villa Christine again.
We had a great time at Villa Christina. It is well-located, with beautiful views of the sea and it is easy to walk down to a couple of small beaches. The house is in excellent condition and is very well equipped (e.g. everything you would want in the kitchen). We all enjoyed using the pool, playing table tennis and the pool table was fun too. Everything was well maintained. Someone came to clean the pool every day, and there was also a daily visit from someone to empty bins / clean. Christina and her husband were excellent hosts. Christina had prepared a meal for us for when we arrived so we didn't need to immediately head to the supermarket - very thoughtful of her. And the fridge was stocked with some food and drink, again to get us through the first day. Also, Christina took time the next day to give us a quick tour of Porto Heli, pointing out the good beaches, recommended restaurants, how to get to Spetses Island etc. She described it as good Greek hospitality which it certainly was! There is lots to do in the area although we mainly spent time at the villa itself. Thank you for a very nice and relaxing stay. We highly recommend the villa for a holiday.
Great villa! We had the pleasure to spend a week at Villa Christina - and it was just a great stay!! The villa is very comfortable, spacious, well maintained and at a great location close to Porto Cheli. Fantastic (sea)views from everywhere - the house has several terraces with seats to enjoy these. Also our welcome was fantastic - the owner welcomed us with homemade diner, ready for us and, something we have not experienced before, a full fridge! Cake and breakfast for next day was also prepared... That for us was a real surprise and great way to experience the Greek hospitality...! On second day owner invited us to show us around the area to point out the best restaurants close to the villa, best beaches and locations where to take ferry to Spetses and Hydra, but also where to rent a motorboat. We followed up on all suggestions - and these were great insider tips!! The house was cleaned inside/outside on very regular (almost every day...) basis as well - which gave the overall experience a more hotel experience. Perhaps less cleaning would be better for privacy - but this is just minor detail. Can only highly recommend this villa! We truly had a great week! Review Submitted: 7 Aug 2018 | Stayed: July 2018
