Apartment in Tavira, Algarve, Portugal - Modern, Quiet Location Yet Only A 10 - 15 Minute Walk From Tavira Town Centre
Modern, spacious two bedroom luxury ground floor poolside apartment set in manicured landscaped gardens. Large family swimming pool with separate children's pool and poolside decked area complete with comfortable sun loungers and parasols. Fully furnished with quality furnishings in a contemporary style and fully equipped kitchen. Air conditioning/heating to living areas and bedrooms. Small private paved garden area overlooking pool and gardens and private indoor atrium with table and chairs.

The apartment has been inspected and licensed by Camara Municipal de Tavira and as such complies with their safety requirements (gas/electrical certification and fire precautions). The apartment includes fire extinguisher, fire blanket and first aid kit. We require that for the benefit of all guests the apartment remains a smoke free zone.

There is a video controlled entry system to the apartment and fitted electric window shutters. Remote operated air conditioning to the bedrooms and living area at no additional cost, which can be used for heating during the cooler months.

TV viewing via the Freesat digibox - can be programmed using your own home postcode. Hairdryers supplied.

The landscaped gardens are kept to a high standard with grassed areas flower beds and hedges maintained by the condominium gardener. The complex is fenced and gated and is therefore safe for children. There is a large shared swimming pool and shallow pool for children, which are illuminated during the evenings. Adjacent to the swimming pool is a decked sun terrace complete with sun loungers and parasols. There is also a covered shaded area if preferred.

The apartment is situated close to the pool and has its own small private garden area, which is ideal for families.

At night the gardens, pools, pathways etc are illuminated and provide a restful and relaxing ambience during the evenings.

Golf - There are numerous top quality golf courses in the Eastern Algarve, three of which are within a ten minute drive. Closest is the established Henry Cotton designed Benamor Golf Club. Opened in 2000 the course provides stunning views of the mountains to the north and Atlantic to the south.

The Rocky Roquemore designed Quinta da Cima & Quinta da Ria courses are also within a 10 minute drive. Quinta da Ria offers superb views of the Ria Formosa Nature Reserve and is an ideal course to play amongst friends. Quinta da Cima is more of a challenge and not only looks but plays as a tournament course.

The highly acclaimed Monte Rei Golf and Country Club designed by Jack Nicklaus is a once in a lifetime must. Castro Marim is a challenge with excellent views of the Portuguese/Spanish border and the latest course on the Portuguese border, the Sevie Ballesteros Championship course also offers spectacular views across the Guadiana River.


Great Appartment with good Pool

The apartment is nice and big. Very great we found that there are 2 bathrooms. You can either sit on the terrace to the pool or in the atrium. There is also a gas grill from Weber available which we have used extensively. The contact at the booking and afterwards was very good. We would book this apartment immediately.

Fabulous Apartment

This is a fabulous apartment - bright, modern, spotlessly clean and extremely spacious. Very comfortable beds and well equipped bathrooms with nice showers. Beach towels were also provided which was very useful. The complex itself is small and private with a very decent sized pool with well kept gardens. Complex is about a 10/15 minute walk from Tavira centre with its many shops and restaurants. Owner was also extremely helpful. We stayed here for two weeks and would highly recommend this apartment and would have no hesitation booking again.

Definitely recommend

Stayed in the apartment for 3 nights and really wish we stayed longer. Would 100% recommend. Clean and spacious with a large pool and lovely grounds. Easy to book and any questions we had before and during the stay were answered quickly. Already planning our stay here again for next year.

Great stay in this beautiful apartment

I have recently stayed in this beautiful apartment on a golf holiday in the Eastern Algarve. The apartment is like a home from home. Very comfortable and immaculately clean. The apartment is ideally situated in walking distance for all the attractions and wonderful restaurants in Tavira. Ann is a joy to deal with. Really prompt with replying to any questions during the booking process and very helpful. I would recommend this lovely apartment if you want to explore the Eastern Algarve with its picturesque beaches and high quality golf courses.

Definitely worth the stay

My husband and I rented this apartment for 1 month in February/March and it definitely exceeded all our expectations. The apartment was spacious, bright and spotless. The kitchen is well appointed with modern appliances and all the pots, pans and dishes you'll need. The bedrooms are a good size with plenty of storage for clothes and the beds are comfortable. The ensuite bathroom in the master bedroom has a walk-in shower and second bathroom has a large tub - perfect for a soak after a day of hiking! Internet is solid and the satellite tv has all the channels you'll need. There's also a little courtyard off the kitchen with a barbecue and a small dining set - perfect for outdoor meals in warmer weather.

The pool, and a large poolside deck with chairs and loungers, is steps away from the front door. There's also a gym in the building next door that offers weekly & monthly memberships.

The condo complex is short 10-15 minute walk to the centre of Tavira where you'll find plenty of shops and restaurants. One of our favourite restaurants, Sal no Ponto, is just a 5 minute walk away past the railway bridge at the bottom of the stairs to the street along the river.

We will definitely stay here again the next time we are in Tavira.
