Set on the edge of the village, this charming cottage invites guests to unwind and relax in the pretty terraced gardens with its vine-covered terrace and generously sized pool. In the evenings, nearby Vejer’s cosmopolitan atmosphere and large choice of Spanish, French, Italian and Moroccan restaurants may tempt you, although closer to home, Santa Lucia’s excellent La Tajea or Castilleria serve some of the best cuisine in the area. It’s hard to tear yourself away from this relaxing spot but with the golden sandy uncrowded beaches of this unsophisticated coastline, the many interesting historic cities and whitewashed villages all within a short drive, there is plenty to explore! There is a master double bedroom with en suite bathroom and a twin bedrooms with adjacent full bathroom along with the open plan living-dining-kitchen area. Due to the many terraces this house is not suited to toddlers or very young children, nor is it really ideal for the less mobile. In July and August, we can also make available (on request), for a 5th person, a granny flat on the middle terrace with it's own en suite shower room. This bedroom has a normal double bed but very limited storage space for clothes so suitable for maybe a teenager or au pair.
Perfect Hideaway

We had a fantastic stay at Casa Lucia with our two girls. The house is well laid out and equipped with everything we needed - even though the weather was unusually bad and so we found ourselves in the house more than expected! When the sun was shining the terraced gardens are a perfect hideaway with a stunning pool. Gary was also incredibly efficient both in communication and providing information to make the most of our stay.

Quiet and not far from Vejer and Conil. Be sure to visit the restaurant Castilleria at the end of the street. Gary was always accessible via WhatsApp. We will be back.
Very comfortable and totally private villa with beautiful garden and pool

We spent a week here in June 2018 and had almost perfect sunny weather the whole time and little wind. The villa is as described and was perfect for us two - comfortable, well equipped and in particular with a lovely garden on several levels going down to a quite large pool area that was totally secluded. You also have good views of the countryside and across to nearby Vejer. There are tables and chairs on several levels so you can pick your spot for a drink or meal. The internet worked flawlessly. We visited Vejer twice for lunch as well as making trips to Cadiz and Tarifa. We also spent time on a total of seven different beaches in the area, which were quiet in the week and very scenic. Our favourite ones were at the south end of Bolonia and just north of Zahora. Gary, who manages the property, was very helpful, both by email and in person. We also appreciated a good welcome pack in the fridge with butter/wine/cheese/beer.

We had a fabulous stay in this beautifully appointed villa. From it's elevated position there are fine views over the distant fields, and a saunter down the terraced gardens lead you to the jewel in it's crown-the large, inviting pool! We enjoyed a meal at each of the village restaurants and we can recommend these if you don't want to cook!! Our wonderful host Gary made us most welcome upon our arrival at this spotlessly clean home. We didn't need to see Gary again but he was on hand had we needed him.

The house itself is fantastic-- couldn't ask for anything else. The pool area is lovely. Beach supplies are provided. There was a pack n' play crib for our little one. The area itself is fantastic. Vejer is such a beautiful town, and an easy 5 minute drive away. The beach is nearby as well. Finally, Gary made for a wonderful host by being involved and even getting us booked on a daytrip to Tangier!

Accommodates six but great for four people. The garden and pool were stunning, especially in the Spanish heat. It had all the facilities we needed and the cleaners who came were very friendly. The location requires a car but Cadiz and Jerez were close for day trips and the local town had everything we needed for self catering. Gary provided loads of info and made our stay really easy. We'll definitely look to come again. 5 stars!

Amplia, cómoda,espaciosa, muy limpia y con unas vistas preciosas. Está situada en una urbanización tranquila que invita al relax, dónde hay algunos sitios para comer muy recomendables. Totalmente equipada, con todo tipo de detalles. La comunicación con Gary fue muy fluida. Al día siguiente nos llevó huevos de gallina recién puestos y nos dejó salir de la casa más tarde, por lo que aprovechamos el día.Gran anfitrión y una gran experiencia.Sin duda, muy recomendable. Volveremos!gracias.

The villa is set within the most beautiful garden, with different levels depending on if you want sun or shade. The pool is just amazing. Your own tropical paradise. The villa has everything you could need for a home away from home. Santa Lucia is like Eden, water flowing freely down the mountain and three fantastic restaurants meaning you don't have to make the short drive up to Vejer if you don't fancy it. Gary and his team where superb, the best level of service and knowledge compared to any villa we have ever rented. Always happy to help and nothing is to much trouble (even helping us with travel arrangements and many recommendations). Thank you so much for making this such a relaxing and wonderful holiday.
Idylle im Grünen

Das Haus liegt sehr schön mit Blick ins Grüne. Die Zimmer sind gemütlich und die Küche sehr vollständig eingerichtet. Gary der Vermieter war über e-mail jederzeit gut zu erreichen und hat uns für Notfälle auch seine Telefonnummer angegegeben. Der Pool ist groß, so dass man tatsächlich gut darin schwimmen kann. An und für sich sind auch die drei Terassen ein Traum. Leider war es bei unserem Aufenthalt allerdings so windig, dass wir sie nicht nutzen konnten.

Located near the beautiful "pueblo blanco" of Vejer de la Frontera with its many restaurants, this is a quiet location in the village of Santa Lucia which itself has three super restaurants within walking distance of the villa. It was lovely to wake up to birds singing in the morning. A super location with easy access to nearby towns of Medina Sidonia, Barbate, Chiclana, Conil, Jerez, and Tarife. The front and back terraces of the villa offer places to sit or lie down in sun or shade. Wish it had been warm enough to use the pool while there, but it was lovely to look at. Fantastic views of Vejer from the house. Kitchen is well equipped and the villa has dishwasher, washing machine, and television. There is private parking for one car in front of the house which is a plus as the road into Santa Lucia is narrow. Good walking trails nearby. The owner was exceptionally friendly and helpful. We didn't want to leave and are looking forward to returning! Highly recommended.
