Beautiful, large family villa. Amazing swimming pool
By Michelle C. on 27-Aug-2018
We have just returned from 12 nights at this beautiful villa. It is so big, the pictures do not do it justice! The kitchen is huge and has everything you think of possibly need.
The villa is full of unique pieces of furniture. You can really tell that Gill loves this villa and has put so much thought in making a lovely place to stay.
The Pool.... Our favourite place. It was just perfect! it is large enough to actually swim in and our children loved it as much as we did! The hot Spanish sun worked it's magic and heated it so you did not have a shock when you got in, it was glorious.
The rooms are spacious and have air conditioning. There are bathrooms for each room as well, so would suit parties of adults visiting as well as families.
The gardens are large and well maintained. There is a BBQ and seating area as well.
The terrace upstairs is huge, we spent every morning out here eating breakfast and watching the golfers. Most evenings we also spent here, watching the sun setting over the mountains. The views are stunning.
Ana (who looks after the villa for Gill) was a gem! She was so helpful and had so much knowledge of the area. Gill is such a friendly owner and a real pleasure to rent from. We hope to return to the villa in the near future :)
Wonderful Villa on a Lovely Golf Resort
By Susanna H. on 08-Feb-2018
We have spent a month here in this lovely spacious villa. It’s been great to have all the comforts of home plus the winter sunshine, not to mention those views! There was plenty of bedding and spare towels - even beach towels which is practically unheard of. The kitchen was very well equipped too. Valle del Este Golf Resort is well placed for making excursions to the surrounding towns for sightseeing, restaurants/cafes but the resort facilities make staying put an equally attractive option. There’s a great Spanish restaurant, a very friendly British Sports Bar and the hotel restaurant on site. These are just a short walk away if you don’t want to cook or if you want to watch a sporting event on SKY or BT Sport. The hotel has a lovely pool that you can lounge around free of charge and also has a Spa and Gym that you can pay to use. The whole environment is very clean and feels safe. The villa has its own swimming pool which was maintained weekly whilst we were there. Unfortunately the weather wasn’t quite warm enough for us to take advantage of it. We had a couple of minor problems with the plumbing when we arrived but Ana, the agent, very quickly got things sorted. Gill, the owner, was excellent at communicating and was very helpful throughout. If you can’t already tell, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Albaida 2 and would jump at the chance to return.
Very comfortable and easy to relax

We had a lovely time staying at Villa Albaida. After a long day sightseeing the Villa has all the facilities and equipment needed for a perfect holiday, it is a home from home, very comfortable. We would rent again.

A holiday to remember in a fabulous spacious villa with fabulous sunrise and sunset views
By Gwendoline S. on 14-Oct-2016
We have just returned home from this wonderful villa and quickly wanted to share our review for future visitors. We arrived with a party of six, 5 adults and a tiny 3 month old, and were greeted by Anna, who updated us on everything we needed to know about the villa. A welcome pack was provided which was greatly appreciated. My son and I came to enjoy the golf and this villa is literally 2 minutes from the first tee and clubhouse and Karen's bar, which serves some excellent no nonsense food. The drive to Vera Playa beach and Consum supermarket (Excellent) is approx 15 minutes and scenic. It was great to have an audience when teeing off at the 8th as our fellow party members overlooked from the villa's top terrace. Pool is a proper swimming pool and a good temperature when the temperatures were constantly pushing 30 degrees for our full 17 night stay. Takes your breath when you get in but if you use the outside shower first you are well prepared. The villa is very secure and well lit in the evening and is fully alarmed. But Valle del Este resort is very safe and I doubt if the alarm has ever gone off in anger. A very special thank you Gill for a wonderful holiday and we will be coming back. Already looking at flights and availability for next year as we are planning to visit twice again during 2017. Best Regards Jeanie & Rae.
comfort, convenience and quiet!

Very well equipped and spacious villa with every comfort you could want. There were packs of playing cards, games, DVD's, books, BBQ ... all making for a 'home from home' stay.We have stayed at Valle del Este over 30 times in the past 11 years and this villa is an excellent place to stay especially if travelling with friends/ family, where space is a necessity at times. The small welcome pack of milk, water, wine and biscuits was much appreciated. Anna explained everything we needed to know about the place. The villa overlooks the 8th tee and is in walking distance to the hotel and commercial centre. Although this centre has never been that successful (there was only one restaurant/ bar open during our stay), usually from April to October there is at least one other eatery that opens. Try eating at the Truck Stop just off the roundabout at the exit of VdE...great value! Golf is always a test of courage here, and it was good to see some improvements being made to the tees and paths...it is a wonderful course to play, but not for the faint hearted! Try Aguilon at San Juan de los Toreros...a 30 minute drive up the coast...another great course. We would definitely stay at this villa again...hopefully in warmer weather when we can use the inviting pool!

We had a fabulous 2 weeks here. The property was spotless, our arrival was really well managed by Anna, the property manager over there. The villa is really spacious and very well equipped. The pool is a perfect size and allows for 'proper' swimming as well as playing. It feels very private and safe so great for families. The air conditioning was a real godsend with us being there in August. The golf course restaurants and bars are just a short walk away, but there are also lots of places to eat within a short drive away, as are the supermarket. We enjoyed the aquapark and the beaches, but also spent a lot of time at the villa; it was better than a home from home!
The booking process was easy and Gill responded to emails quickly and efficiently and provided any information that we needed. The only constructive feedback that we would give would be that some kind of parasol/sun shade by the downstairs outside seating area would have been appreciated.
We had a truly wonderful holiday and would not hesitate to recommend this property to people who are after a 'getting away from it all' holiday.
