Description

28B is a charming, cosy, recently-refurbished cottage hidden to the rear of number 28. It is a 5-minute walk to Thirsk’s cobbled market place with its many amenities, including restaurants, cafes and attractions such as the award-winning ‘World of James Herriot’ museum.

The cottage boasts a stylishly decorated lounge, a well-appointed kitchen-diner and two bedrooms, both bedrooms have king size beds. There is an allocated parking space to the rear.

The cottage can accommodate up to four plus an infant. A cot can be provided in the larger room if required.

The intimate lounge provides seating for four with a comfy sofa and two chairs. There is a gas coal effect fire ensuring instant warmth, TV with DVD player (selection of DVDs) and an Amazon fire stick. Amazon’s Alexa is ready to play your favourite tune: all you have to do is ask!

The kitchen-diner is equipped with a table and four chairs, electric oven, ceramic hob, washing machine, fridge with ice box and everything you need for your stay, including a high chair.

Stairs lead to a shower room comprising large walk-in shower, WC, basin and towel radiator.

The main bedroom boasts a wall mounted TV with Fire Stick, Amazon Dot, luggage rack, wardrobe, drawers, bedside cabinets with lamps, hair dryer, illuminated make up mirror and a large full length mirror. quality bedding and towels are provided plus robes for additional comfort.

To the rear of the property there is a small outdoor patio area with a table and four chairs, and the allocated parking space.

Every possible comfort

We had an excellent stay in the cottage. The attention to detail was spot on. Every possible comfort was provided from gorgeous bedding, to a bathrobe to nice toiletries. Super clean . It was clear that the hosts had created a holiday experience with love. The fresh white roses were a lovely touch as was the hamper of goodies. My 92 year old Dad loved it and would like to go back.

Graham and Gail are great hosts. The cottage is beautiful and has everything you need and more. Lovely touch with the welcome hamper basket. Great location for visiting Thirsk and exploring the Yorkshire Dales.. A fantastic bank holiday weekend..
