The creation of the house has a beautiful story that merges history of 2 people through 2 generations to the present day. The construction has embraced modern ECO technology with some of the engineering as subtle features internally. Dianthos is a 2 storey, 2 double bedroom & 1.5 bathroom house with pool & private parking. The internal layout is unique in design with quirky & inviting qualities supported by the cool colour scheme and soft furnishings. The large internal dining is one of the many focal features that lead into the fully equipped kitchen with access to a small external secluded breakfast area. The patio doors lead out to the terrace and pool area – perfect for the laid back days or taking advantage to cool off during the warm sunny days and evenings. You will also find additional external dining & BBQ facilities - ideal for Al Fresco dining. The ground floor has a bathroom with WC & basin and laundry facilities. The internal wooden staircase leads to the upper floor that is home to the 2 double bedrooms & the second bathroom with shower, WC & basin. The bedrooms are reminiscent of a Scandinavian retreat which is quite fitting with the backdrop of the majestic colour changing Mount Ainos covered with our native Black Pine Trees. One of the bedrooms is enclosed and the other is open planned with a balcony and perfect views of the glistening Ionian Sea. Location Kountourata is a traditional hamlet nestled between Spartia & Pessada. Mapped out with country roads connecting the villages to 2 breathtaking sandy beaches and many more secluded coves along the coastline. Easy access to Spartia square with 2 minimarkets, coffee shops and taverna and additional exceptional places to eat close by. 20 minutes drive from the airport & cosmopolitan capital – Argostoli with a diverse shopping & eating experience while still holding on to the Kefalonian magical charm.
