I found Chateau Feely through Caro''s books, and had a lot of expectations on arrival - everything exceeded them! The views across the vineyards and valley are beautiful. The accommodation had everything we needed and was comfortable. The pool was great for dipping in. But best of all was the care and attention of the hosts to make sure we had a great authentic stay in the area. Recommendations for local restaurants, markets and bike rides were much appreciated. We ate and drank very well the whole week :-) Can''t wait to go back!
We stayed in the Wine Cottage at Chateau Feely for a week in May. The cottage is lovely with stunning views across the vineyards and valley. The cottage is well equipped, comfortable with lovely decor and remarkably cool even though it was very hot outside. Although part of a working vineyard it felt secluded. Caro Feely made us very welcome and we felt at home there. It was interesting to learn about producing organic wine and to sample the lovely range of wines. A dip in the swimming pool at the end of a hot day was a refreshing experience. I would highly recommend and hope to visit again.
What a wonderful place to stay! A comfortable, well-equipped cottage with stunning views over the vines to the valley below. Caro, our host, was incredibly welcoming and friendly - with an infectious passion for winemaking (and her wines are SUPERB!)! I stayed here with my partner for 3 nights in late September 2021 and would thoroughly recommend (and we hope to return!). The perfect place for a magical escape!
