Recently officially 4 star rated by the French Tourism Board, La Borgada is a luxurious 3 storey apartment within a medieval townhouse, with incredible views over the valleys to the sea. Originally built in 1677 as part of the ramparts of the village, it has been luxuriously renovated throughout to provide a stunning home away from home experience in the heart of the village. Tourrettes sur Loup, only half an hour from Nice Airport, is the ideal location from which to explore the whole of the Côte d'Azur: the stunning beaches and the magnificent and awe-inspiring landscape of the pre-Alpes.

The property is on three floors, with a bedroom on each floor, all with the same amazing view. As you enter, you arrive in a large open-plan living area, with a very well-equipped kitchen and breakfast bar, dining table and living area - all looking out onto the large exterior terrace, where one can eat, relax and enjoy the amazing view. There is a large TV with international channels, all French channels and access to your Netflix and Apple TV account. There is also a Bose sound bar so you can access your own play lists.
Also on this floor, a bedroom with king-sized double bed, fitted wardrobes and sea views - across the hall is a shower room, shared by this bedroom and the bedroom upstairs. The upstairs bedroom has twin beds that can be made up separately or as a double, a fitted wardrobe and sea views.
The master bedroom is downstairs from the living area, has a king-sized double bed, views across the valley to the sea and an en-suite shower room. There is also a small salon next to it. On the same floor is a laundry room with washing machine and tumble dryer. All linen and towels are supplied, as are dressing gowns in the master bedroom, and hairdryers are available in all bedrooms.

This three storey village house, beautifully decorated in creams and beige using natural materials, is fully air-conditioned and has underfloor heating throughout for the winter months. It provides the prefect base from which to explore the whole of the Côte d’Azur—not only the coast, but the marvels of the arrière pays, the delightful hilltop villages, the rivers and waterfalls, and the stunning pre-Alps countryside, which are all on your doorstep.

All the amenities for a luxurious stay. Beds are made for your arrival, towels and robes provided.

Additional costs:
Final clean and laundry fee - 175 euros per rental.
Tourist Tax - 4 euros per adult per night.

Fantastic Stay

The accommodation is in a stunning position and is immaculately presented inside. Teresa had thought of everything to make our stay as easy and pleasant as possible. Tourettes sur Loup is stunning and full of great restaurants. It is also located well to explore the area.

All in all a Five Star Experience

,· September 2023 ,· Stayed about a week Tourrettes-sur-Loup is a stunning location and La Bourgada makes the very best of this special setting. The panoramic view from the balcony takes your breath away. On the street side of the house there’s an excellent Boulangerie where one can sit outside with a coffee and watch village life. In the evening the restaurants come to life and one is spoiled for choice. The interior of La Bourgada is finished to a very high standard. It is pristine in every respect. We were three and a half hours delayed arriving at Tourrettes-sur-Loup due to flight and car hire issues but Teresa changed her own plans so as to be able to meet us on arrival and find us a restaurant still serving on the square. All-in-all a five star experience. Ciarán and Mary.

Terésa and her family have done an incredible job modernizing the space, and have taken great care and pride in maintaining and decorating the interior. We loved our week at La Borgada, and were very appreciative of Terésa's recommendations. I couldn't recommend this property enough - this is Airbnb at its best.
