Delightful little cottage
By Elizabeth on 13-Sep-2024What a delightful little cottage to enjoy a week in the beautiful Lake District! It is sited in a very quiet spot but within easy reach on foot of all Ambleside has to offer, including an excellent bus service to explore most areas of this region. There are lovely walks in the fells and quiet lanes too right from the door. The cottage has been beautifully furnished and decorated and supplies everything one needs for a holiday here. Helen has been so helpful in communicating with me. I cannot recommend Bryony Cottage highly enough.
A wonderful place to stay
By Jill O’Hara on 22-Jun-2024The Cottage was very well appointed and in a convenient location for getting around on public transport. The owners looked after us very well. On arrival we found milk, teabags and a delicious homemade cake. The bedrooms were attractive and comfortable. The furnishings, pictures and ornaments in the lounge made it feel like a home, not like a holiday let. There were books, leaflets about places to visit in the area, jigsaw and Wi-Fi. There was a small, pretty garden at the back with table and chairs. I would love to go back and might do so but Devon is a long way from Ambleside…..
