Delightful Cosy Cottage
By Lynda Shaw & Jill Harrison on 09-Jan-2026Always a joy to stay in this holiday home. This was our 11th stay in 7 years in Tickle Cottage. Ideal base to explore the area, equally cosy and comfortable to stay in for the day. Well equipped cottage with comfortable beds and a lovely log burner for winter stays. The beach is a 5 minute walk away. A selection of coffee shops, pubs and restaurants are within walking distance. Looking forward to our next stay this September.

Cosy Tickle Cottage in June
By Lynn mason on 03-Jun-2026We loved Tickle Cottage -great scenic location in the heart of the village next to the church an good selection of places to eat or stop for a drink. - all dog friendly A bonus being within minutes walk of two dog friendly beaches and short drive to Seahouses , Bamburgh and Low Newton. We enjoyed relaxing in the cottage and the little courtyard - good sheltered space to relax after beach walks. Two good sized bedrooms and the upstairs one is an especial treat being beautifully decorated and furnished. Would recommend Tickle Cottage as a great base for trips out and relaxing in
