A warm welcome awaits you at Barn End - a spacious cottage set in mature grounds and furnished to a high standard. It is part of The Barn, a 300 year old building which was originally a stable barn for working horses on the former Manor Farm. Barn End is close to the heart of the charming conservation village of Biddestone in an area of outstanding natural beauty. There is a village pub which serves food and a wide range of eating places from Restaurants and Gastro Pubs to 'take aways' available within a few miles. The historic local town, Corsham with its range of unusual shops, is two miles away.

Biddestone is situated on the SE edge of the Cotswolds with its pale golden stone that makes the village so warm and distinctive. The centre boasts of gracious houses and cottages around a village green and duckpond

We are within easy reach of the Georgian City of Bath, designated by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site and the Park and Ride site is situated very conveniently for Biddestone.

Whatever your interests, we are ideally placed for exploring the Cotswolds, Wiltshire and Somerset. Nearby are the delightful villages of Lacock and Castle Combe. Archeological interests can be met with Ancient Monuments such as Stone Henge, Stone Circles such as Avebury and several Chalk White Horses.

In this this beautiful historic area there are numerous Gardens, Nurseries and Country Houses to visit as restrictions ease. The woods and fields in the nearby Bybrook Vally provide a variety of shade and gentle walks. If you yearn to shop, Bath is renowned for its many exciting specialist shops and there is a big Designer Outlet Shopping Centre at Swindon. A Farm Shop, Sainsburys, Morrisons and Lidl are all under 15 mins drive from the Cottage.

Children are welcome and we have a cot and high chair available. We have a Holistic Massage Therapist available at Barn End if you need some gentle relaxation.

We normally offer weekly holidays from Friday each week but long weekend and midweek breaks can also be arranged

These are some of the things guests guests like to do as they open up:
Visit the pretty local villages: such as Castle Coombe famous for the films Dr Doolittle and War Horse. Lacock for the films Cranford, Pride and Prejudice, Mayor of Casterbridge and Harry Potter and Biddestone for Agatha Raisin.
