Serene cottage stay
By Sophie on 17-Apr-2026Such a lovely and beautifully decorated cottage. Situated in a lovely quiet and remote space around lots of beautiful sheep. The wood burner added to the charm brilliantly. Rooms are comfortable with lots of space for everyone. Lots of great pubs around to dine or have a drink. A good location for those that want to explore the moors with all the splendour it has to offer. Very reasonably priced as well. Thank you Laura for hosting us and I’m sure we will be back again 💕

Thank you Sophie.
Absolutely Amazing
By Tracey Bennetts on 23-Dec-2025This is our second visit,we had a wonderful time we took our 4 boys this time. We stayed Christmas and New year and even extended our stay. The care and thought that Laura took in making sure it was really special for the festivities was exceptional. We went on scenic walks almost every day because the moors are so close to the property location. We will definitely be returning and cannot rate this property and location high enough to others looking to book, you will not be disappointed.
Great place to stay
By Deb Massey on 08-Sep-2025Great cottage in a peaceful location, with good walking straight from the door. Hope to return soon.
Our favourite hideaway!
By James & Anna on 26-Jul-2025The cottage provides an excellent base from which to explore the moor and surrounding areas. the cottage feels like a second home to us after returning for the 4th time! This year a new outside sitting area proved a great addition - lovely to sit out on the warmer evenings and watch the sun set.
Absolutely amazing
By Paul Ramm on 05-Jul-2025The accommodation is perfect for a relaxing break away. Has everything you need and is completely private. The Fox and Hounds is literally a 10 minute walk away, Mary Tavy Inn is a 5 minute drive away and has a beautiful garden with stunning scenery! The house is close to so many areas with beautiful walks, about a 50 minute drive to Bude beach. The house stays wonderfully cool in the summer (we visited during a heatwave) and has a truly amazing view of the sunsets! We can’t wait to go back! Paul, Kim and Milo the dog
Great location
By Alison on 14-Jun-2025Had another lovely week at this very comfortable and peaceful cottage. It’s an ideal location for walking on the moor. The weather was great so we made use of the new outdoor seating area. We will definitely be returning again later this year.
