Places not to miss Broadway Tower ,Hidcote and Whichford Pottery. Lots of places to eat in Broadway the Broadway Hotel very good and Broadway Tower excellent and both dog friendly
Very cosy and comfortable
By Dave Allen on 15-Apr-2026We had a wonderful 4 day stay at Laburnam Cottage. Just up the road from Broadway High Street. Very cosy and comfortable with beautiful furnishings and a private secluded garden for our dog. Andrew was the perfect host, giving us useful information where to go locally and welcomed us personally leaving milk in the fridge and a cake! We had a lovely stay and will definitely be returning.
Delicious cake on arrival!
By Julie MacInnis on 15-Feb-2026I would thoroughly recommend a stay at Laburnum Cottage. It was spotlessly clean, exceptionally comfortable and wonderful to have off street parking! My mum and I would happily stay here again. Delicious cake on arrival too! We stayed at the time of the Christmas Market. Ideal location. Thank you
highly recommend
By Debbie Hopkins on 30-Apr-2026Sitting in the cottage garden listening to the running stream and eating the delicious cake left by Andrew was truly a delight last week. We spent a glorious four days with our dog in Lower Mill Two Cottage and would highly recommend it as a fantastic place to stay. We will be back
A wonderfully warm welcome: the perfect rustic retreat
By Samantha on 13-Apr-2026We had a truly enjoyable stay at Laburnum Cottage and couldn't recommend it more highly. The cottage has a charming rustic character that immediately makes you feel at home, and from the moment we arrived, it was clear our host Andrew Scott had thought of plenty. As dog owners (although we packed our own), we were delighted to find a dedicated dog bowl waiting for our four-legged companion, complete with chocolate dog drops. A genuinely thoughtful touch that set the tone for the whole visit. The welcome cake and pint of milk on arrival were equally appreciated after a long journey, feeling like a warm hug the moment we walked through the door. Andrew is the most charming host, clearly very well connected within the local community. His recommendations for trips out and rainy day activities AND lovely lunch spots were excellent, adding real value to our time away. It is the kind of insider knowledge you simply cannot find in a guidebook. A few practical notes for those travelling with pets or little ones. The wooden stairs are carpeted to prevent slipping, which is a reassuring touch for those with dogs or small children. The beds are firm and impressively high, also worth knowing in advance. Additionally, the 10-minute walk into Broadway runs along a lane for part of the route. It is speed restricted and not especially busy, but some drivers do pass at speed. For stretches without a pavement you will be walking in the road or on grass (if not muddy), passing some of the most gorgeous lambs along the way was gorgeous, and where there is a pavement it is still single file affair in some parts, not all. Perfectly manageable, but good to know before setting off with a pup and child in tow. Thanks so much Andrew! Really appreciated the break away.
