Whilst Carthouse is all on one level with a very spacious feel, it may not be suitable for those with limited mobility.

The 43" Flatscreen Smart Television is equipped with a bluetooth soundbar and there is a portable DAB radio with bluetooth speaker in the bedroom. WiFi in Carthouse is free and unlimited and there are usb charger sockets for phones and tablets in the lounge and bedroom.

Carthouse - Good Facilities and Quiet Location

Yes Comments about this property Very quite location and easy going hosts to hand if you need them. Good facilities in the cottage. Enjoyed watching the red deer in the fields first thing in the morning. Tips for other travellers There is a public foot path close by across the fields if you want to walk the dog. If you like the beach head to Bude ( summerlease), car park fills up quick. Scones from Pengenna pasties are best (enjoyed the home made ones waiting for us when we got there as well) Tasty pasties at the top of Bude do some cracking pasties if that’s your thing. Wroes in Bude if you want Sunday roast (gets busy quick and you can’t book) Trebarwith Strand is a cracking dog friendly beach good surfing as well BUT you need to check tide times before you go, no beach at high tide, there is a second car park further down past the council one that is closer to beach. Plenty of super markets in Bude. If you like a walk, park in Bude and walk to Sandymouth, 2 miles each way along coast path, nice cafe there.

Carthouse - Beautiful Place and Surroundings

Yes Comments about this property Fabulous fortnight at Carthouse, our 1st without our beloved dog. The cottage is perfect for us and that''s why we''ve returned again and again. Beautiful place and surroundings. It has everything we need and is spotless. The owners are lovely and very approachable. Feels like a real home from home Tips for other travellers Top tip for this year would be look at getting a weekly parking permit either just for the 1 car park or the Cornwall Council roving ticket. Parking has gone up alot since last year and this has saved us money.
