Description

Harbourside Cottage is a Grade 2 listed Cornish Cottage nestled along the Harbour in the very popular town of Charlestown. It has breathtaking views of the Sea, large garden with BBQ terrace and sleeps 6.

Beautifully furnished making the best of both indoor and outside space; a lawned garden and a sun terrace for BBQs. 30 seconds walk to 2 beaches, cliff paths and several great pubs, restaurants, cafes and shops including one of the best ice-creameries in Cornwall.
The Shipwreck Centre next door is a must see for all ages.

The space:
The Cottage is an 'upside down' house meaning the bedrooms are located on the ground floor with the spacious, bright open planned living room, dining area and kitchen on the first floor making the most of the truly spectacular views from all windows.

There is plenty of seating with a large 3 seater sofa, 2 upholstered arm chairs and 2 wooden arm chairs.

The Wifi is strong, approx 40Mbps and the cottage has Sky TV. Some phone networks get minimal coverage in the cottage but Wifi calling resolves that issue.
Outside and around the Harbour & town seems to be OK. Lou is on O2 and is OK and gets full 4G.

The 2 bedrooms at the front of the cottage overlook the Harbour.
The bedroom at the rear of the cottage has a fantastic ensuite bathroom with drench shower.

The back garden and sun terrace have views out to sea and is a very quiet & private space for the family to enjoy any time of the day.

It Really Is Perfect

We had the most amazing stay at Harbour cottage. It really is perfect. Crisp White Company bed linen and towels, exceptionally clean, lots of thoughtful touches and a location to die for, what more could you ask for? Lou was a warm and friendly host. We will definitely be back next year!!

A beautifully furnished and maintained property with a great private garden. Close to some lovely beaches and South Coast Path walks. We would highly recommend Harbourside Cottage for your Cornish seaside break.

We had a lovely holiday with our 4 month old grandson. The cottage was the ideal place to be when you’re having to fit in with a baby. Very comfortable both indoors and in the garden. Perfect location if you don’t want to get in the car. There is plenty to do on the doorstep with some excellent restaurants and pubs, yet it’s very tranquil just sitting in the window seat and watching harbourside life. All you may need is provided including for a baby or toddler. Lou must have used her powers to arrange a week of glorious weather too. Highly recommended.
