Description

Elsley is a spacious, three-bedroom bungalow situated in the heart of the village of Combe Martin in North Devon's Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Perfectly located in a private no through road on the edge of Exmoor, Elsley is only a gentle, three minute stroll to the beautiful cove at Combe Martin with its beach-side pubs, restaurants and shops.
Sleeping 2-6, Elsley is perfectly equipped for families but is also very popular for couples and those with slight disabilities or the elderly and is also in the ideal location for walking the South West Coast Path that runs through the village. With a large enclosed garden and ample parking, Elsley is the perfect base for exploring everything that North Devon has to offer.
Details
Entrance Hall: The entrance hall is accessed up two small risers with grab rails and through the front door. With a polished pine floorboard and a marble topped sideboard and coat rack access to alll rooms lead off the hallway as follows:

Kitchen/diner: A large double aspect room with views over the front garden, the kitchen/diner is equipped with a large fridge/freezer, a freestanding ceramic hob and electric fan oven, microwave, kettle, toaster and washing machine. A large table offers plenty of space to seat six which also extends if more space is required.

There is a small utility area just off the kitchen with a Tumble Dryer and space for recycling and refuse.

The lounge: A South facing, bright sunny room with a three-seater and a two-seater sofa and a large foot stool; perfect for cozy nights in watching the Smart Freeview TV or read a book from our small collection. The large antique dresser contains plenty of puzzles and family games for those cosy nights in or rainy days and an oak coffee table. . For parties of six, there is the option of placing the tub chair from the smaller bedroom for extra seating if required.

The master bedroom: A beautiful, bright and spacious bedroom with plenty of storage in a large double, built in wardrobe, solid oak chest of drawers, dressing table and bedside cabinets. Grab the perfect nights sleep on our Victorian style wrought iron king size bed with pocket sprung mattress with memory foam topper or relax in a lovely bedroom chair overlooking the garden.

The second bedroom: There is another king size room at the rear of the property, again with a pocket sprung mattress with memory foam topper with a solid pine king size base. The room is beautifully furnished with a large solid oak wardrobe with drawers, a chest of drawers, dressing table and bedside cabinets.

The single/twin room: With views over the rear garden our single room has the option of being set out as a single room or a twin room, making it very versatile for extended families. There is a large chest of drawers for storage and a tub chair when used as a single.

Bathroom and toilet: The bathroom is equipped with a full size bath with overhead shower with a separate WC.

Central Heating and WiFi: Elsley has full gas fired central heating with unlimited free WiFi.

Linen: All the beds required will be made up with crisp linen but please note we DO NOT supply towels and T-towels so guests are required to bring their own.

Outside Space: At the front of the property there is a fully enclosed south facing garden with a porch area by the front door which is a real sun trap. There is dining furniture for alfresco dining as well as a rear garden making it the perfect spot to sit and watch the world go by and enjoy the sunshine. There is parking for at least three cars on the private driveway.

Family Friendly: We have available on request a full-size travel cot together with a highchair for our younger visitors.

Dogs: I’m afraid we do not accept dogs at Elsley.

This is the second time we have stayed here and once again it was perfect for our young family. Weather was generally good and we managed to get on the beach 3/7 days. Accommodation was great as always and we thoroughly recommend to anyone, clean, functional and so peaceful. Thank you all x

This is the first time we have had at Elsley. It is a wonderful quiet place, very comfortable and homely. The two little children have had a fantastic holiday. We went to the beach most days as the weather was fabulous. We loved Combe Martin as well and will be back. Thank You.
