Perfect Holiday Rental
By on 28-Nov-2018We chose Two Owls Lodge for a short half term break based on the previous reviews and pictures on Trip Advisor. It was an an ideal rental in terms of location and layout. This was our first visit to the Peak District. The lodge itself was wonderfully presented, clean, tidy, well equipped and a lot bigger than we had expected. It's a great time of year for using the log burner which just made the lodge feel even more homely and comforting. We had plans, and even tickets, to go the the Matlock illuminations but the cold temperatures and the thought of spending a cosy night in at the lodge was enough of an enticement to stay at home instead. The lodge within easy reach of everywhere we wanted to explore during our stay and had some wonderful local walks at the nearby the woodland trust. We've already planned a return trip for next Easter!
