Description
A one bedroom cottage (sleeps 2) tucked away in the centre of Dawlish within a 5 minute walk to the local amenities including a local supermarket, Post Office, Chemist and other local shops, cafes and pubs. A 10 minute stroll takes you to the sea front and railway station making this a perfect location for singles or a couple who want to enjoy a coastal getaway.The city of Exeter and the coastal town of Teignmouth are easily reached by either train or bus with no need to use your car.
The cottage comes with a garage for secure parking for a small/medium size car and steps that lead to an outside sun deck with table and chairs where you can relax and enjoy the evening sun.
Downstairs there is an entrance hallway with shoe storage and coat hooks which leads through to the living room with a log-burner, a separate fitted kitchen with washing machine, oven, hob, microwave and fridge (no freezer), leading off the hallway is a bathroom with a walk-in shower.
Upstairs is an open plan bedroom (double bed) with wood flooring and a natural stone feature wall.

There is a NO Smoking policy throughout the premises
The cottage is NOT suitable for children or pets
There is no wheelchair access

By Sean on 19-May-2025This cottage is a small, but completely enjoyable place to stay in for a few relaxing days away. Just one street back from the main area of Dawlish means that, although most places are only a 5 or 10 minute walk away, it doesn't have any noise problems normally associated with seaside towns. Well equipped kitchen, comfortable bed and, more importantly, spotlessly clean.

Pretry pink cottage by the sea

The cottage is cute, comfy and cosy, the WiFi is fast and everything you could possibly need during your stay has been thought of and provided. Having a garage included was an added bonus as everything you need to access during your stay is within easy walking distance. Shops less than 5min away the sea a 10min stroll (if that). We had such a relaxing break and would definitely visit again.
Perfect Hideaway
By Elaine and Mike on 20-May-2022We've just had a weekend in the cottage and had a wonderful stay, it's the perfect accomodation, it has everything you need, it's like home from home, it's very well laid out and is very comfortable and super clean, it's in the perfect location for shops, bars, restaurants and the railway station, it's so easy to get out and about from the cottage. The outside Terrace is a lovely space, we sat out there for breakfast, it's a lovely quiet and relaxing area. We enjoyed staying there so much,we didn't want to leave. We didn't meet Caroline and Michael, but communication by text/email and phone was first class, they are very accommodating and you couldn't wish for nicer hosts. We will definitely return and recommend to family and friends.
