Pebble Beach was perfect for our extended stay of nearly 3 weeks as it was extremely comfortable, very well equipped and in a good location on the Strand close to the sea, within walking distance of Deal town centre. It is decorated to a high standard with quality furnishings and was spotlessly clean. We loved the large main bedroom upstairs, the bed was very comfortable with quality bed linen, the curtains blocked out the light properly and the shower in the bathroom was easy to adjust with a strong water flow!! The large very comfy sofa in the lounge was perfect to relax on and watch the European Cup Football on Sky TV. When i had issues with the Sky TV connection Mark came round immediately to sort it out. The heating was remote controlled too so easy to adjust. The internet connection was also reliable. One of our favourite things to do was the long walk along the seafront to Kingsdown for a few bevvies and dinner at the Zetland Arms. Also the cafe, the name of which escapes me on the Strand very near the cottage does a great traditional English breakfast. We really appreciated the nice touch of a welcome cake and wine on our arrival. Mark and Sarah really do a great job of making your stay as comfortable and as easy as possible. You were right Mark i didnt want to leave and if i come back to Deal i will definitely choose to stay at Pebble Beach again. Highly recommended to all.
Everything you could possibly need on a stay away from home - beautifully decorated cottage with real attention to detail. Very comfortable - superb location for beach, coffee shops, local restaurants/pubs and only a 10 minute stroll into centre of Deal.
We had the most fabulous holiday in the lovely town of Deal, which couldn't have been more perfect. Our stay in this beautiful cottage was flawless, honestly the pictures do not do it justice. Stylish and lovingly decorated to a high standard with a maritime feel which is great for the location, our stay felt luxurious but also comfortably homely. The cottage wasn't just charming, it was spotlessly clean, with all the amenities you could ask for (incl. a fully equipped kitchen, a shower as well as a bath, free wifi, a cute little garden, even Sky TV!) and in such a good location, very close to the sea and the scenic beach but also within walking distance to restaurants, shops and the town centre. The lovely owners are super friendly and accommodating and even welcomed us with a cake! What made this our ideal holiday place was that dogs are allowed, a holiday without our dog just wouldn't be the same and this place is as dog friendly as the town itself. Deal is an insider tip for holidays, a town with a lot of history, independent shops (we loved the wine store and the gourmet food spots), really good restaurants and pubs and within easy reach of other must-see places in the South-East and even France (the ferry is only 20 minutes away). I cannot recommend this place anymore, but most of all this cottage, we will most definitely return! Thank you for a brilliant stay!
