Description
The Long Barn has modern kitchen and bathrooms yet retains its original exposed beams and vaulted ceilings. Floor to ceiling windows and skylights lend a light, airy and spacious feel throughout this all ground floor accommodation whilst underfloor heating keeps The Long Barn warm and cosy in winter.With 2 king rooms, a twin room, fitted wardrobes throughout and 2 bathrooms, The Long Barn is ideal for extended family groups or 2-3 couples holidaying together. The open plan living area provides a great space for reflecting on the day’s adventures exploring Norfolk over a relaxing evening meal prepared in the well equipped kitchen.
Double doors from the lounge area lead to the fully enclosed dog friendly garden with outside dining and garden furniture, perfect for relaxing.
The Long Barn has 2 free parking spaces directly outside and we have an additional, pre-bookable space available.
Also available: travel cots, baby bath, high chair, additional folding bed for a young child, shower stools.
The dog and family friendly village pub serving food is a 10 minute (flat) stroll away and you can pick up groceries in the local towns of Wroxham "Capital of the Broads", North Walsham and Stalham offering a choice of shops, supermarkets, bakeries, and butchers along with cafes, bars, restaurants, and takeaways that will deliver.
The Norfolk Broads start at the end of the driveway where you can fish or launch your own canoe or paddle board, the stunning North Norfolk Coast is just 8 miles/15 min drive away offering a choice of dog friendly beaches, while the city of Norwich is 14 miles away.
For walking you can access the Weaver's Way and the North Walsham and Dilham Canal footpath from the village and Bacton Wood offering off lead shady walks is a 10 min drive.
We welcome 2 dogs (please enquire about more).
If your stay falls in December the barn will be decorated for Christmas.

The Long Barn
By Mrs Anita Sharma on 03-Jan-2026We had a fantastic stay in The Long Barn! The accommodation was spotless, beautifully presented, modern and very spacious—perfect for relaxing and unwinding. The mattresses were incredibly comfortable, giving us the best night’s sleep. The location is peaceful and ideal for a break, but plenty of dog-friendly places to visit within a 30 minute drive, our favourites being Bacton Woods and the Blickling Estate (NT). Communication with Cindy was excellent from start to finish. We would happily return and highly recommend Brick Kiln Barns to anyone looking for a spacious, dog-friendly getaway with top-notch comfort.

The long barn is beautiful clean and spacious The owners left a a gift of fresh bread, cake, milk, eggs and dog treats which was a lovely surprise. The garden is fully enclosed for pet friendly stays and a little sun trap with outdoor furniture The Barn is in a fabulous area so easy to get to Cromer, Hemsby and the broads Will be returning as soon as we can!!

Cindy and Mark offer a 5 star experience and nothing is ever too much trouble should you need their assistance. We will be back next year.

By John Thompson on 23-Sep-2025Just come back from a wks break in the long barn , myself ,wife and our 2yr old Labrador , can’t fault our stay in any aspect for us and our dog it was fabulous, Cindy was really helpful accommodating nothing was to much trouble , the barn was well equipped , clean , just lovely in every way and wouldn’t hesitate in staying again in the future

Beds were comfy and there was plenty of wardrobe space. Cindy was super-helpful and welcoming, answering queries pretty much immediately. Highly recommend!
