Mullen is a bright and spacious dog-friendly cottage, ideal for families or small groups, accommodating up to 7 guests plus additional cots for infants.Upstairs, Mullen features a double bedroom with an en-suite shower room, a second double bedroom, and a triple bedroom with space for a cot—perfect for younger families. A well-appointed family bathroom completes the first floor.
Downstairs, the cottage offers everything you need for a relaxing stay. Enjoy a modern, fully equipped kitchen, a large separate dining room with plenty of space to gather, a comfortable sitting room, and a convenient ground-floor WC.
Step outside and you'll discover one of Mullen’s standout features—an expansive 80 sq m walled terrace, complete with a built-in BBQ, ample seating, and sunny views across the valley. It’s the perfect spot for al fresco dining, afternoon relaxing, or evening drinks as the sun sets.

By Maria J on 10-May-2025We had the most amazing stay at Pitt Farm. 6 of us stayed in the Mullens Cottage, it had everything that you needed plus some lovely little extras. The facilities there were amazing. The kids loved the play park and we all enjoyed the games room and swimming pool. Laura and Richard were great hosts and the kids loved feeding the animals with Laura every morning. Lots to do locally too. We will definitely be back again soon.

Just finished our fifth stay at Pitt Farm
By Gemma W on 26-Aug-2024Just finished our fifth stay at Pitt Farm, this time in Mullen. We love the place SO much. The setting is beautiful and the hosts Laura and Richard are so warm and friendly. Our daughters adore feeding the animals every morning and Laura is amazing with them. The facilities are all great and the cottage really well set up. The location is fabulous for so many beaches within easy reach and loads of activities - come rain or shine. We’ve already booked again for next year, our family can’t wait to return.
A Wonderful Retreat.....
By British Traveller on 20-Oct-2023We had the most wonderful weekend staying at Pitt farm and wish we could have stayed longer. The facilities for staying with young children are just perfect. Everything provided you could need included high chairs, cots, kitchenware and toys. The daily morning animal feeding with Laura was such a joy and Laura was so patient with our group of toddlers. The facilities were spotless and comfortable and there was plenty on site to keep us busy. An excellent playground, swimming pool, woodland adventure area and zip line and all in a beautiful countryside setting. We will definitely be returning. One of, if not the best holiday home we’ve ever stayed in. Thankyou Laura and Richard!
Wow what a place
By Nikki R on 20-Sep-2023Wow, what a place! This was a holiday we really needed and it couldn''t have been more perfect. It started with the amazing online welcome pack we were sent beforehand which told us absolutely everything we could possibly need to know... to the thoughtful welcome gift on our arrival and milk in the fridge. Laura & Richard are amazing hosts. So friendly and easy to communicate with, you can see the love they put into this place. We loved the playground, tennis courts, trampoline.. and my youngest absolutely loved meeting Laura to feed the animals in the morning. The little shop had all sorts of thoughtful things in it and the crossiants we picked up fresh every morning were lovely. The swimming pool is amazing too. The beds are so comfortable, I even slept well the first night which I never do somewhere new. Comfy beds, comfy sofas.. and the kitchen has everything you could need. The thought put into Pitt Farm is wonderful, it is a beautiful place and we will definitely be back.
