Great view, Quiet, Child-friendly, Great value
By Sajeev Ramasamy on 30-Apr-2026The rooms were clean and well maintained. They had all the essentials. Sally and curtis were great hosts.
We have been coming here since 2017 and it is always a delight
By Christian Brausen on 10-Apr-2026Self catering cabins with 2 or 3 bedrooms. Immaculate and spotlessly clean. Internet connection and 2 EV chargers via Monta app available. Playground for under 12s available. We have been coming here since 2017 and it is always a delight.
We cannot recommend Alpine Park Cottages enough!
By Anu Sajeev on 15-May-2026We stayed at Alpine Park Cottages for an entire month with our two small children, and the experience was perfect from the very first day to the last.Curtis and Sally are incredibly welcoming, accommodating, and approachable. They made us feel at home instantly and were always available to help with a smile. Safe & Stress-Free for Families Travelling with two toddlers can be daunting, but this environment is exceptionally safe and completely stress-free. We could truly relax knowing the surroundings were secure and family-friendly.The cottages are fully equipped with everything you could possibly need. It was wonderful to see that the little details had been thoroughly thought through. Unlike most self-catering accommodations, we arrived to find essentials already provided, including:Washing up liquid,Cleaning cloths,Dishwasher tablets, Perfect for Long Stays & Remote Work,Since we stayed for a month, the on-site coin-operated laundry room was a massive lifesaver. This location is also the ultimate setup for anyone looking for a refreshing change of scenery while working from home. The environment is peaceful, reliable, and highly productive.A huge thank you to Curtis and Sally for making our long stay so memorable. We cannot recommend Alpine Park Cottages enough!
Lovely place to stay
By Jac P on 15-May-2026I've stayed here many times and I'm always impressed with how clean the cottages are including the contents of the draws and cupboards! There is a lovely central grassy area to play on and a very high quality climbing frame with a slide and swings for the children. I like being able to park the car directly outside the cottage which makes unloading all my luggage much easier. The road links from the site are good for exploring the area in all directions and there is an information centre inside the laundry room with lots of leaflets on things to do and places to visit. There is even a bus stop within easy walking distance from the site exit. Sally and Curtis are very friendly and always keeping the cottages and grounds looking their best.
Perfect - Don't stay anywhere else!
By KarenB4862 on 30-Apr-2026I really can not fault this place. We have stayed annually since 2020 and it gets better each time! The owners are friendly and helpful and greet all their guests as family; it certainly has that feel to it! They constantly look to make improvements (I can't think of anything more that can be done now - recent additions include a coffee machine and waterfall shower in the premier lodges) and have a wonderful maintenance programme which ensures that the property is always clean and beautifully furnished. Even this week when we stayed repairs were being made a wooden plant pot that had been slightly damaged and some lodges were being painted on the outside. The ground are always beautiful with bushes, trees and lawns regularly tended too. I am sure that families with young children appreciate the well maintained childrens play area. It's a real home from home! I have commented before on the excellent location giving easy access onto A3052 and within a few miles of Exmouth, Budleigh, Sidmouth, Seaton and Topsham to name but a few. We hope to be back again later in the year.
Still perfect
By KarenB4862 on 06-Oct-2025This place continues to impress. We try to visit annually and are never disappointed, There is so much here which is outstanding! The hosts (Sally, Curtis and Helen) are friendly and helpful, always on hand to chat and give advice but never intrusive so you can enjoy a relaxed holiday at your own place. The site is beautifully landscaped and well maintained. The lodges are spotlessly clean, tastefully decorated with a well stocked kitchen and the comfiest beds you can find! A good night's sleep is guaranteed as you are away from noisy traffic and bright lights. The excellent location makes trips out easy and we would never look to stay anywhere else if we are visiting this area.
